I've been talking up the S Factor Workout and the free intro class, so I thought I would share this video I found. While it is not by Sheila Kelley, it is in the same vein. This is the UK version of the "S factor" (and the British accent makes it seem more classy and more naughty all at the same time). It is known as the "Vertical Dance." Now I know that the term "vertical dance" could imply standing and dancing (as opposed to the horizontal dance), but the word "vertical" stands for pole in this instance.
Check it out and watch the pole tricks...these are things you could learn taking the "S Factor" classes.
I do find it funny that "stripping" is never mentioned in this clip and I really can't think of another dance medium that uses poles. Maybe I'm being short sighted - you tell me.

LOL "Vertical dancing" makes it sound so much classier. And how funny that they have a guy doing the workout too; I definitely can't picture any guy wanting to do that workout.
Though on the other hand Im sure it takes some major upper body strength to pull off those moves and make it look easy, so I guess whatever works for you right?
1Do they have something that's more along the "teaching stages" or something like that. I think it would probably make a good gag gift but unless it was broken down I don't think it would achieve it's intentions. That's my opinion though. There's no way that you would catch me doing that sober, sorry!

3I'm curious though... how many people have poles installed in the home? Are you supposed to go down to the local strip club to get in your exercise?

5Man, I want to try this, but I can't find a gym near me that offers the classes and I'm not too sure about putting a pole in my house...
6I keep laughing at the guy because he reminds me of David Walliams from Little Britain and I can only imagine what kind of facial expressions he'd be making during this.
