Exercise comes in all shapes and forms but it's the fun stuff that keeps us going in the end. For me, my favorite form of exercise is riding my bike. Sure running is good, swimming is relaxing, and I even like hitting the gym, but riding my bike is truly fun. Not only am I brought back to my days as a kid, but I love being outdoors and exploring new areas while burning calories. I know that bike riding is a favorite among many, but not all, so what is your favorite way to exercise? Speak up and share which exercise you actually look forward to doing. Hopefully, everyone's answers will inspire us all to find the joy in exercise.

Probably running for me. I've realized that Pittsburgh (my new home) has some great trails, so the novelty is keeping it really fun and interesting.
1Lately, by turning on the tv and watching Michael Phelps swim. It gets the heart going and I breathe hard. This counts, right?
2swimming, i'm on a team
3I prefer swimming and water aerobics.. but I don't have access to a pool.. so I like to dance and brisk walk.
4I love inline skating, to the point where I think it can't "count" as exercise because it's purely fun.
5i dont feel like im working out if im not either in the gym or jogging.
6and i wont lie to u
i dont enjoy it per se
its just something i gotta do to take care of my body
I loooooove hiking. I live in a really urban area, so that doesn't happen nearly enough. I also love swimming and would love to learn how to do synchronized swimming! That looks totally fun!
7Elliptical machine, hiking, walking, and biking are my favorite ways to exercise. But i haven't done any of those in awhile!
8Yoga and walking, my two favorite exercises, always accompanied with my iPod, of course.
9I love walking, but I love Pilates most of all.
10I dance, dance, dance and I dance, dance, dance
11Soccer Games
12Weights, weights, weights.
13walking and yoga. i think that anything high impact has the potential to make me cranky...
14Walk, weights.
15Tennis!
16And in the winter, the stairclimber- with a magazine, of course. It's the only time I let myself read magazines!
17Kickboxing!
I would like to get into biking but there's not many places I could ride it around here.
18I love to jog. I have been working for a year now to be able to run any sort of distance (I could barely run half a mile when I started), and now it's my favorite time of day! I'd also love to learn ballet. Dancers' workouts are among the toughest I have ever done!
19I love yoga, i'm totally addicted!!!! Besides that weights, or rollerblading
20Rock climbing. I go twice a week with my husband. It's great because there is such a mental aspect to it as well, so you almost forget that you are exercising but get such a great workout!
21i love swimming in the morning, boxing in the evening and golfing & hiking on the weekend.
22Jumping rope.
23I'm addicted to the Pilates reformer, but matwork is great too. I've never been athletic before I started Pilates, but now I'm becoming curious about other activities, especially kickboxing and swimming.
24For me, I love variety. These days, I dance, jog, and weight train every week. I look forward to every workout because it's something different from what I did the day before.
25I truly exercise in the gym, I only ride my bike (an old school cruiser, not a mountain/road bike) for fun.
26Swimming!!! I am most at home when I'm in the water!!
27Pilates and Weight Training for me
28I also walk, and do Ashtanga Yoga.
Running with my Wii..and dancing...but I love it when I am with my friends and we play a sport or something...they are all couch potatoes so I don't think that would ever happen...lol
29I just like taking classes with my friends! Like my pole dnacing classes! And I want to take self defense classes too...and dancing classes! Haha I have an awesome time being a with a group of people and doing some workouts!
30Running with my dog. And usually after that, yoga. I also like to go swimming once or twice a week - I always work harder in the pool!
31Dance, dance and yoga.
32in the spirit of Sex and the City - i would almost say that shopping is my cardio ...
but i really do enjoy going to the gym and working out either on the elliptical or the bike. to me - those are the best cause i know that i can push myself and not hurt myself
i'm so accident prone that i have to be careful.
when i have an opportunity to swim - that's also one of my favorites. my mom jokes that i could swim before i could walk - so i'm part fish and that's something that's a great workout but soo relaxing and enjoyable
33I love all the new ideas I'm getting from reading these comments. So far I occassionally do yoga, play the Wii, go play DDR. My main form of exercise is dancing, weight lifting, running and swimming. I need to do more things for flexibility, and yoga nor pilates isn't that exciting for me.
34I have three favorites...
35running, dancing and capoeira... I don't get around to dancing much, but I do capoeira 3 times a week and run as often as I can.
I've yet to do something that gives me the energy and happiness I get from running - it is the best mood booster in the world!
A long walk after work, with my husband, through all the parks and trails between the Metro and my house. We try to do it every day. Also dancing - at the club, latin dancing - and yoga; really any exercise that focuses on making your body create beautiful shapes and movements.
36ilanac13 LOL that can be true! parking at the opposite end of the mall can really burn it, especially in this summer heat. I tend to power walk through the mall when I'm alone. (30mins to an hour rushing/walking/sweating/trying on shoes and clothes.) I hate shopping with people because they slow me down... the cashiers at my favorite store here slow me down too.
37I jog every morning, but I am loving walking in my brand new MBTs. They seriously, seriously work! I am shocked at how sore I am.
38I love my Wii Fit! I also bike around my neighborhood and use an elliptical when I'm bored (or while watching tv).
39Weightlifting, definitely! Zumba (aerobic dancing), bike riding, and hiking are fun too.
40My favorite is definitely running. I also love strength training in it's many forms and I love yoga, too. But running wins by far.
41Oh and someone mentioned walking in their MBTs.. I love walking in my Chung Shis. They are very similar to MBTs but have an arch support and provide more of a work out.
42I love jumping rope as a switch-up from running. I always feel like a kid when I do it. I also am getting into Pilates and I'm really liking it, which surprised me.
43swimming, belly dance (which is a lot harder than it looks!), latin dance, and walking/hiking
