Confessing my health and fitness slip-ups to you guys make me feel human again, especially after reading everyone else's confessions. I've got a new one to make . . .
The weekend is behind us and as I mentioned before, Friday through Sunday can be the hardest on our healthy lifestyles and this past weekend really gave me a run for my money. The biggest problem is that I've rediscovered Krispy Kreme donuts. My parents were in town the other weekend and my dad has an affinity for Krispy Kremes. He bought a dozen of them one morning and it's been downhill for me ever since. I've been craving, buying, and eating them on a somewhat daily basis. There is just something about a warm donut that gets me every time. But starting today I'm off the donuts and back on the egg whites and fruit.

I try to keep ice cream out of the house, but I've been living with a cousin who dies for Double Rainbow Coffee ice cream. I was good at staying away from it but one day she brought home a quart of Ben and Jerry's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough - my absolute weakness. I've been digging out a few chunks of the dough almost every day after dinner. Luckily now the quart is pretty much gone, plus I'm moving to some new digs with my boyfriend, who a) eats pretty healthy and b) just discovered he has some food allergies which sucks for him but should help keep the junk out of our house haha.
1I have 2 weakness:- First - ice cream - To make it even worse, I will add cereal on my ice-cream as a double treat. This is what I normally do: 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup icecream + a little bit Frosted Flakes + a little bit cocoa puff + a little bit yogurt cheerios + a little bit Cookie Crisp. Second - cheesecake - the WHITE CHOCOLATE RASPBERRY TRUFFLE from cheesecake factory is the best!
2I just created a lethal culinary addiction last week. I put P.B. locos brand peanut butter, the Jungle Banana variety, on white and milk chocolate swirled Hershey's Kisses. I cant stop, people!!!
3I had a whole medium pizza to myself the other week :C
4Salty foods. On the very unhealthy spectrum BK fries and lots and lots of salty potato chips. On the moderately unhealthy spectrum is sunflower seeds of all flavors. Especially nacho cheese. I'm weak.
5i just got home from work & ate chips & salsa & a package of peanut butter M&Ms. also, earlier today i ate a cookie from uncle biff's. the cookie was so worth it that i don't feel guilty about it, but i wish i hadn't stuffed myself with chips & salsa & the M&Ms.
6I to slipped up this weekend....and have been ever since I have just been eating everything in sight after losing 10 pounds but tommrow its back to logging everything I eat. I have discovered that I have to log what I eat and weigh myself everyday because if I dont I just get way off track.
7I rode 80miles on Saturday and rewarded myself with a large lunch and desert on monday. Then when I got back to my office, I did something I never do: I ate out of my own candy bowl on my desk (I feel that if I eat out of other's candy bowls I can stay accountable and occasional - but my own is strictly off limits). The worst part is that even though I was full I didnt stop with one piece, I ate 10 pieces wolfishly. And then I splurged at dinner. Now for the past 2 days I have had a stomach ache. Lesson: just cause I burned 1500 calories does not give me a license to eat 4000 the next day.

9Feel good about yourselves, people - today I ate an entire box of Frosted Flakes. The big box. All alone, in one sitting. The whole box.
10More than food, I have been ignoring my running and let myself have "snacks" more often - a little cookie here, a fun size chocolate bar there - and I have a 10K at the end of the month! I can now barely run 5! :-\
11I ate fried chicken today and drank way too much at the bar. I know I'll be feeling it tomorrow.
12This week I don't really have anything but it's funny you mentioned Krispy Creme donuts. I recently am craving one. They don't really have them here and I've probably have only had 2 or 3 ever, but I want one.

14I went to a friend's house for help saving my harddrive and reinstalling windows.... we ate.. big bag of doritos with salsa dip, big bag of kettles chips chilli flavour and this doughy thing cooked made with a whole lot of butter, sugar and syrup.... I was going so well. I should have known, because it was when we were living right next door to each other for three months that I put on almost 5 kilos!
15I had french fries with my grilled chicken sandwich tonight and decided not to feel bad about it. But I do feel bad anyway, lol. Tomorrow is a new day though!
16Oh and I just ate three Reese's mini pb cups. Ugh.
17Wedding cake!! I had a piece ate the wedding saturday and also finished my moms piece..then she brought me a few pieces that were leftover yesterday and needless to say those are gone now too...
18i ordered a potato taco at lolita's and it ended up being way greasier than i expected it to be.
19it was so good!
there's a new cupcake shop a block away, called polkadots. oh. my. god.

21Last weekend, I went on a road trip with my family, so of course there were Oreos. I think I ate half the pack myself. They sure were tasty.
22Well lately it's been sour starbursts and sour jolly rancher candies. I've had my body trained since birth though (thankfully in the most part to my parents) and I cant eat more than probably 3 without feeling icky and i'll stop. The same goes for anything that is not nutritious. I don't know why it's so weird but I just can't do it.
23Last night I went to the cinema and I ate almost a whole bucket of caramel popcorn....
24I had some alcohol and sweeties on Friday night.
I've been healthy otherwise.
25wow you guys are f-ing stellar. i cheat EVERYDAY. i do work out 2ice a day but i can't stop. now i've replaced healthy foods with 'cravings' and then feel bad and work it all off again. it's from all the years of depriving myself. i haven't gained weight but the junk makes me feel like crap afterward. i know this is just a phase... i can't wait for it to pass.
26Luckily, there is no Krispy Kreme where I live. There is, however, ice cream (!) and I do eat plenty of that.
27Not into doughnuts anymore but once upon a time, I did my share of damage..oh yes.
My weakness is such a silly one...I mean, I love really GOOD food, quality food. I am into fresh, into proper cooking, into honest ingredients and yet..and yet..
I still crave, and occasionally can wolf down entire boxes..

Kraft Macaroni n'Cheese.
Not even the wet-sauce one. I mean the dry powder packet stuff. With loads of butter, milk, black pepper...and a massive glass of milk.

28Reading some of these posts made me feel a little better. No offense, girlies!
29I just came back from 12 days vacation. Let's just say that was a disaster and threw my whole routine offtrack in a HUGE way. No workouts, drinking quite a bit at least every second evening, ate at least 2 whole jars (albeit 'light') PB over that course of time, chips, pizza, nachos, bagels, bacon....all the stuff I normally avoid.
I gained 6.5 lbs in that time. I cried my eyes out when I stepped on the scale a couple of days ago. My own fault though! So now, oatmeal for bfast and carrots for lunch, steamed fish and veggies for dinner....... :s
Me, it's Peanut Butter... If my husband doesn't stop me, I could eat the whole jar. I love it so much and we sure know how high in calories it is
I'm guessing I don't have enough fat in my diet so I try to eat more nuts and nut bars (the Kind bars
are very delicious)I think it helps the bad craving a little.
30ice cream or some kind of chips every once in awhile. Recent faves are edy's slow churned cheesecake diva or their birthday cake flavor!
31ahh yesterday was a bottomless pit day for me, totally pmsing, I had some doritos, an ice cream sandwhich, and some tiramisu! So tasty, but back on track today!
32I mixed up some chocolate chip cookies. I ate about a cookie's worth of the batter, then I ate a cookie. I know it doesn't sound bad, but tonight I'll probably do the same!
(I'm trying the method of refridgerating the dough for 24-48 hours. It supposedly yields a better cookie, but I think it's just an excuse to have cookie dough in the fridge!)
Oh, and they were made with Ghiradelli chocolate chips with Heath toffee bits in them too!
33yesterday it was reeses pieces, sunchips and kraft mac and cheese. The day before i had m&ms and went out for a big dinner with the family....all in all it was a train wreck so it's back to the gym today!
Lydia...i put cereal on my icecream sometimes too!! it adds a whole new dimension to it!haha
34Oh my goodness, I've been on a downward spiral lately. My new offense is sneaking away from my desk at 3pm to hit the convenience store. And then I buy TWO candy bars and EAT BOTH at my desk. WHY?! Why am I doing this to myself?? Today I brought some more food from home so hopefully I can quit this exercise in overindulgence!
35Uggg perfect timing for this post... Just yesterday I pulled into my gym after work and when I got out of the car and started reaching for my gym bag- I noticed it wasn't there! I forgot it at home! Instead of spending the next hour at the gym I took my lazy butt home and sat on the couch eating fast food... Totally feeling guilty today.
36Smoking during the bar exam...I don't feel all that bad b/c it was the bar exam after all, and it's totally stressful, but my runs definitely went a little downhill.
37I have pretty good willpower to eat healthy, but pizza is my extreme weakness, if we order one for dinner i can't just have one slice and call it a night. haha
Luckily we are moving at the end of the month and trying to save money so there won't be any pizza nights for awhile.
38In 'n Out Burger... damn them for making such tasty burger! I've been working out really hard and logging in a lot of calories burned, BUT then I play that little mind game of justification. That is the hardest part about exercising and diet. Because you think to yourself well i burned a ton of calories so now I can eat what I want... I deserve it, but really you're just fooling yourself. So now I am packing a dinner for after my workout so I don't grab something on the way home (In 'n Out is 5 mins. from my house).
39Ice cream is my major weakness, but I have been being good about not eating it. There was some left last night in the gallon container but I gave all of it to the little brother so that I would not eat it, and I ate a half of an apple instead! Today I am splurging on 100-calorie packs of the Oreo Thin Crisps and maybe even some Counter Culture frozen yogurt-- my favorite? The Humphrey Yogart- plain yogurt with honey, fresh grapes, strawberries, bananas and granola!! Yummy!!
40I've had Mexican food THREE times this week. And it's only Thursday. Mmm guacamole!
41Over the last two and a half weeks I fell off the food wagon and gained back 4 of the 8 lbs I lost. Time to get back into it!
42Have not worked out for more than a month!
43I had a huge cheeseburger and a hot dog with the works followed by strawberry shortcake at my company bbq today. Back to salads starting tomorrow! It was totally worth an extra run session though
44Lets see, I am back at work after a month long overseas holiday in the sun and my eating hasn't been so fab.
This weeks includes, 1 piece banana bread with butter, 1 sausage roll with tomato sauce, a few chocolate bars at 3pm
And cheese, way too much cheese/
45i had half a snickers ice cream bar last night.... sooooo delicious!!!!!!
46i downed an entire can of pringles tonight.
47I am addicted to Sunkist.
I'm averaging about 4 cans per day right now.
I'm trying to find an alternative. Right now I'm substituting iced tea. So far, not doing to well.
48berry chantilly cake from whole foods stares at me everytime i go in there. i bought one slice and now i want more.
