We all eat right and work out to feel energetic, and to prevent ourselves from getting sick, but let's face it — many of us are conscientious about diet and exercise because we love how it makes us look. Who doesn't want a slim and toned body, right? There's nothing wrong with being proud of your appearance.

With that said, everyone has certain parts of their body they love to work on so I'm wondering . . .

Ahhh, the flat belly is more healthy anyway - less intrab fat which is a precursor to health problems.
1I'm working towards the flat belly!
2Both for sure.
3I would have answered more towards 'flat belly' a month ago, but I started doing cardio Thai kickboxing 4 days a week, and the results I have seen in my butt are astonishing, I didn't realize that I could have a nice ass and now I want to keep going! lol
Flat belly, for sure- but, a nice bum would be a plus. I am naturally pretty slim, but my bum tends to be pretty flat. I'd love to have a little more junk in the trunk!
4A flat belly and toned tush are both important. A flat belly is so important that I just went to see a Plastic Surgeon about have an abdominoplasty. Lucky I was told I just need to have the excess skin removed and that my abdominal muscle are super taut and that they never separated during my morbidly obese days. Whew!
My bum is getting toned with climbing hills and power lunge sets with the medicine ball. My stomach remains a disappointment because I cannot see the definition and tautness that doctor's keep saying is there.
5flat belly of course.
6My stomach's already flat, I'm totally pear shaped so toned tush is waaaaaaaaaaaaay more important to me.
7Toned butt!! Big, toned butts are so hot. Besides.. ahem.... I like doggie style, so I'd rather look good from that angle....
8Foxie,
. I agree, I like my booty big and lifted. Plus I LOVE lunges and I hate hate hate ab
stuff. Oh well, I have a soft belly
9My stomach is where I gain ALL my weight so to get that down would be nice. Also with a big stomach clothes just do not fit, so it'd be nice not to wear frumpy stuff all the time. I'm working on it
10I need em both!
11I work on them both equally hard.
12Flat belly!!!
But I like my bum to be tight and perky too
Frick, since I started running (well jogging I guess haha) I can notice such a difference...even in just 2 weeks!!!
13I couldn't pick one, although if I wanted to make things easier on myself I would just say "flat belly". Every extra calorie I have ever eaten, it seems, has gone straight to my rear end and taken up permanent residence. That may be a slight exaggeration, but my belly is relatively cooperative with my fitness regimen, while my bum is the exact opposite. And I don't think I will ever be free of cellulite. (I'm only partially comforted by the fact that most women aren't.)
14Flat Belly for sure! I'm mostly happy with my bum, so I don't tend to work on it.
15If I'm doing exercise anyway, why not aim for both? I don't do exercise to get only one part of my body in shape.
16A toned tush for sure! I've had 2 kids, and it has left my stomach considerably changed (sagging skin, stretch marks), yet still flat for the most part. I am working on my butt all the way!
17I am not surprised to see 57 percent of us say flat belly.
Uh, what do they always make fun of females for in the tabloids? Fat bellies! Is she pregnant? Bloated? Gained 30 pounds? Junk food junkie?
I think big tushes are positive. Stars are labeled "curvy" is they have a big behind, like Kim K and J-Lo.
18Both... but since my tummy is relatively flat (eventhough it isn't 6pack worthy)... I would have to say I like my bum to be nice!
19I'm in the same boat, kiwi. My workouts are more tush-related since that's what tends to need the most toning for me.
20I am a Kim Kardashian kind of curvy, so I am focusing on my midsection/ hips/ toned stomach when I work out. I know that working on my butt would just be a waste of time, it's just set in my genetics.
21both, DUH
22but i voted flat belly. the fat distribution in my body is sucky, most of it in my belly
my belly would never be flat, unless i'll have like 3 % body fat
Both!
I have a pretty good ass (although it's flatter than it once was, but I'm working on it.). I've never had a nice flat stomach. That's my big goal for this year. I'm doing ab work like never before, and hopefully I can burn off some of the fat that gathers there...
Why can't I gain all my weight in my butt? I hate have a "belly", it looks so unfit and I'm a pretty fit person...
23After two Cesarians and stretch marks galore, I'd like a flat belly. I have what I lovingly call the "hangy thing." A flap of loose jiggly skin that flaps over the top of my panties. I hate it! But I think the only way to get rid of it is a tummy tuck, and I'm so not ready to go that route yet! I have a big bum, but I like it, my husband is a butt man, so it works for me!
24Equal but if I have to choose one - belly def.
25I have a pretty flat belly, which I'm very proud of. As for a tight tush, I have no tush, it's flatter than my abs!
26Both. I want to look good from the front and the back.
27Thighs! Slim thighs are most important to me.
28Both. I have no rear, flat board, and I hate the way my stomach looks... i'm getting back into the squats for my butt, yet i am careful because of my knees. as for my stomach, crunch crunch crunch and cardio to get the darn fat off.
29Definitely a flat belly!!!
30toned tush is easy for me, but flat belly is something out of this world.
31A flat belly! I have always wanted a tight, flat belly like Carrie Bradshaw! I would die for her abs!
32Flat belly. I've always had a nice butt, but my stomach hates me.
33Flat belly. I've always had a pretty nice butt, and my rebounding workouts help keep it toned. But the belly is HARD for me to work out - I'm naturally apple-shaped, and it takes forever for results to show. I try not to get discouraged, but...boo.
34I would love to have a flat stomach! It's hard because I have been so stressed lately, and I gain weight when I'm stressed, and that is where the fat goes first!
35a flat stomach is by far one of the most important things to me. i feel like i can wear a skirt or jeans and get away from showing if i don't have the most toned butt, but a stomach, that HAS to look good.
36Flat stomach, hands down. My butt is already pretty great just from running, but it seems like I have to work a little to get my abs to look decent.
37My tush is just out there. It's never gonna look great in a swimsuit. Good jeans fix all. My abs, however, are nice and flat whatever I do or don't do. I'd say back and shoulder toning is more important because I can make the most differnce there.
38I'd rather have a trim tum. My butt has never troubled me, especially because I can't see it as easily as my belly!
39my booty always needs work> I have good shape, nice rump BUT some dimples. need to stick 2 squats n joggin
40I want to get rid of fat in my midsection so badly and I feel like it is so unfair. Bigger bums are much more accepted than bellies and it is even sexy to a lot of people. My butt and legs never give me any trouble...sigh
