I love finding a good site that is devoted to helping us become more educated on the food we are putting (or contemplating putting) in our bodies.
This is why I love DietFacts.com! Originally started because the creator's father, who was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes, was frustrated with trying to locate foods that fit into his newly prescribed diet. Not knowing the nutritional content of your favorite foods (restaurant and other) is a big problem for people with diabetes, and for anyone looking to eat healthfully or for those dieting. It's easy, it's free and it's full of great information.. Check it out at DietFacts.com.

Thanks Fit!! I was just thinking in the shower this morning if there was a site that offered calorie counts for things you eat out!! this will help me stay on track!
1www.nutritiondata.com is a good site, too. Very informative! I'll have to check this site out though, too.
2I love this site! It's really helpful when going out to eat. I was shocked about the calorie content in many of my favorite dishes.
3i go on diet facts to check the fat content of certain items at restaurants. Ruby Tuesday's Bacon Burger has 67 grams of fat! That makes me want to never eat there again!
4dietfacts.com is a GREAT website! however, i find the way the site is organized to be a little difficult. there's TONS of pages of food for every restaurant, so it takes forever to find a certain food. try these websites:
http://www.dwlz.com (AMAZING SITE! has so many restaurants...i ALWAYS look at this site)
5http://www.calorieking.com (can break the food down into ounces, if applicable. plus, wide variety of restaurants!)
Dietfacts.com looks very helpful. I am starting a diet (and exercise regime) and it looks like it will help me on my journey.
I agree with the two links amandaaa posted. DWLZ is especially awesome.
6DietFacts.com is one of my favorite websites!
