Ahhh . . . the tank tops and halters of Summer. These lovely and cooling fashions require a little attention to the upper body. I tend to find strength training for the arms and back enjoyable. I like to work my triceps with Tricep Dips, my upper back doing Seated Rows, my chest and shoulders doing Chest Presses, and I throw Balancing Push-ups in the mix to strengthen my overall upper body, core, and arms. Out of all these exercises . . .

DAY Birger et Mikkelsen
To be honest, though, I don't really like any of them
I'll take curls and skull
crushers any day!
1I like regular pushups and want to work on my pull ups!
2I like to do all of them since my goal is to one day have "good arms." Thanks, Fit.
3Weighted tricep dips modified to make them even more difficult by putting my feet up on another bench. Fun times! Not a fan of the push-up, but I realize you do get more bang for your buck by doing it as it works chest, arms, shoulders, and even your core to some extent.
4b*tchslapping
5I like the elbow plank.
6facin8me - That was funny and totally unexpected!
7when i was in high school, i was able to do almost 30 pull ups! without cheating. i did them slowly, and fully extended each rep.
yeah.. all of these exercises are great, and i need to work on my pull ups too.
8Not a fan of any of these, to be honest. I like overhead presses and curls the best. ^_^
9I can't say that I have favorite upper-body moves, but I love working my chest, shoulders and triceps.
10I prefer traditional push ups
11I like pushups of all kinds...they really work all the muscles of your upper body. Rows are a close second though...I like them because I can use really heavy weights, lol.
12I always liked doing chest presses. Seated rows aren't bad either. The WORST are triceps!! Any move involving them, I just despise. My arms are weaker than my legs, but still, I am sooo sore after I do tricep dips or kickbacks.
13wow, tricep things are so popular, didn't expect that. i have them. my wrists are really weak from playing all that big tennis as a kid and getting injuries so i hate push up and everything to do with my wrists.
14Tricep dips! They are so satisfying. I lost weight a couple of years save for the "bingo wings" arms which happened as a result of the weight loss and then I was introducted to tricep dips. It's very satisfying to feel nicely toned triceps.
I prefer upper body exercises because I love to feel the strength that results.
15I love my ball! It feels like playing, not working out.
