Crackers always seems like a healthier alternative to chips and pretzels, but since many of them are made with nutrition-less enriched white flour and tons of sodium, they end up being just as bad. So when you're looking for crackers, you want to make sure they're made with whole-grain flour. I found these made by Doctor Kracker ($4.39). They're technically called "Flatbreads" because they're about the size of a slice of bread. They make a variety of flavors, but I decided to give the Seedlander a try.

The first ingredient is organic whole-grain spelt flour, so they have a slightly warm and sweet overall flavor. As you can see, they're covered in pumpkin, sesame, and poppy seeds , which gives these flatbreads a very unique taste and texture. They were delicious on their own, but even better with hummus spread on them. These krackers are thick enough to stack lots of toppings on, so just think of the endless snacking possibilities! Since they are so big, one was filling enough for a pre-workout snack, and with 3g of fiber and 4g of protein, they kept me full until dinner. I think these are my new favorite thing and I can't wait to try the four other kinds.

these things are so delicious that i am happy that you gave them a good review. you can even buy little bitty bags so you can eat them instead of chips with your sandwich at lunch instead maybe that bag of cheetos you had been eyeing
1I'm SO picking these up!!!
2They even LOOK healthy in the pictures. Almost TOO healthy. Good to know that they taste great...I may have to try some of these.
3I took these on an archaeology dig at high altitude. They hold up well in a backpack and sustain you really well! Yum!
4i hope the other ones don't have pumpkin seeds, i'm allergic. they look so yummy!
5I saw Doctor Kracker crackers at T. J. Max. They were 3.99. I purchased a box. Mine were with cheddar cheese and sunflower seeds. I likes them so much that I went back and bought more. A GREAT TIP for those of you that buy health food products..... VitaCost.com you will save sooooooo much money on food and vitamins. They also sell Ecover and 7th generation products.
