Regular push-ups too boring for you? Then you must try this variation that's sure to target your back, shoulders, biceps, triceps, and forearms. The only prop you'll need for this move is a sturdy chair.

To find out how to do this, read more.
- Stand next to a chair, fold forward, and place your palms flat on the floor about six inches in front of the chair's legs. One at a time, place your knees on the seat of the chair. You can rest your toes or the top of your feet on the back of the chair.
- Make sure your arms are straight and your shoulders are directly above your hands. When you're ready, bend your elbows, lowering your shoulders toward the floor. Then straighten your arms. Don't worry if you can only lower a few inches. As you practice this exercise, you'll be able to lower farther.
- Repeat as many times as you can, working up to a set of 20.
Have you ever done these? They're killer!

Not with a chair but definitely against a wall. That is crazy too but best done with a spotter to keep you steady.
1I was gonna say, Melo. I'd fall on my ass.
2Yeah, that looks dangerous.
3oh, that would definitely be trouble for me...but i'm especially clutsy.
4wow, very creative. have never seen this one.
5I actually do these while at work sometimes, when I'm supposed to be reviewing our expenses in the back of the bar. I strap on a 10 lb weight vest and do about 6 sets of 20. Great for building strength, as well as toning up!
6I'm in a small apartment, is a sofa an acceptable substitute? after all it is more fluffy, and more sturdy. Seems to me that if I do them this way I am less likely to hurt myself.
