I'm a sucker for a salty chip, and love to dip them in homemade salsa, hummus, or guacamole. I also like to crunch on plain chips, too. Regular corn chips can bore the palate, so when I found these Garden of Eatin' Multigrain Chips ($3.29), I was more than interested in trying them. They're made with whole flaxseeds so they sound healthier than regular corn chips, but are they? To find out read more.

Nutritionally speaking, these multigrain chips aren't much different from regular white corn chips. They do have slightly more sodium and also a bit more fiber, but that's about it. I really love the unique flavor of these multigrain chips, and the flaxseeds embedded in the chips gave them a nice crunchy texture. The serving size of the multigrain chips is also larger, so based on that and the fact that they have a more robust flavor, I'd have to choose these over regular corn chips. |

TJs has flaxseed chips, they are pretty good. You can eat more for sure - but have noticed they are saltier.
1Love tortilla chips, the healthier the better.
2I haven't tried this brand but I just plowed thourgh a bag of Tostitos' new multigrain chips and they were THE BEST EVER! I have always been addicted to tortilla chips thankfully these are slightly healthier.
3trader joes flaxseed! alikat yes!!!! i love them. but they make you fart. def are pretty salty. i basically don't trust anything 'healthy' at a generic grocery story. it's all about them deceiving the people who are trying to eat healthier. buy tortilla chips at whole foods/tjs bc they really are better/healthier and more natural.
4I would think the flaxseeds in these would give more fiber and such. Boo.
I hope Flat Earth comes up with a tortilla style chip...their chips are SO GOOD!
