Gear Review: Sports Bra for Less-Endowed Women

I've reviewed sports bras for the well-endowed ladies, but what about for those of us with a bit less va-va-voom?

I recently purchased the Lululemon Flow Y Bra II and I am in love with this top. This great little bra is the whole package. It provides good support, the mesh back insert provides maximum ventilation, and the racer back shape allows for full range of motion without irritation (i.e. no chafing). Not only did the bra pass the yoga test, it also passed the ultimate bounce test: running. The colors are super cute (mine is yellow with white polka dots) and it even comes with light removable padding, which keeps things discrete even when it's a tad "nippy" in the gym.

I've been wearing mine so much that I've gone back and bought a few more. At $42 it's a little steep, but a good sports bra can be hard to come by and this one is worth every single penny. Go try one on at a Lululemon store near you.

I just can't bring myself to pay the ridiculous prices for LuLuLemon products. :/

I have had such bad expiriences will all of the Lululemon products I have purchased. I have gone through two pairs of yoga pants- each of which fell apart in the wash after only a few wearings. For over $100 dollars each, I expected a lot more. I didn't notice anything that special about them anyway- I like my champion ones A LOT better. Same went for the Lululemon tops I bought.

From now on I'm sticking to the large brands- Nike, Reebok, Champion, Adidas, for my workout wear.

Wow, $42? That's quite a bit for a fairly run-of-the-mill sports bra. I can sort of see shelling out that kind of money if you need a really heavy-duty Frog Bra or something, but if you're an A cup (like myself), you can throw on just about any $5 sports bra and be fine.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I always see reviews for well-endowed girls. I don't have a Lululemon around me, but I'll have to investigate these.

I like the Champion brand sports bras (same style as the one featured in this article) that I can get at Target for 18.00.

I second Kims suggestion for the Champion/Target version of this... I own 4 or 5 of them and they are awesome! Not to mention a lot cheaper....
