Need a little motivation to get off your butt these days? How about Dara Torres? This Olympic swimmer is coming out of retirement for hopes at swimming in the Olympics this August. Not only is Torres a new mom, but she's 41 and if she makes the team, she'll be the oldest swimmer to compete in the Olympics, ever. If Torres makes it to the games this August, it will mark 24 years since she competed in her first Olympic games. Check her out.
How cool is that? The swimming trials are going on now and I'm cheering Torres on! She's so inspiring in fitness and in life. Now I've got the itch to hit the pool! What about you?

Dara Torres is INSANE. I wish I could train 25,000 a week and look like that and swim like that . . . right now, let alone in 19 years when I'm her age. That's nothing! Read the NY Times article about her. I want some of those personal stretchers!

5I read the New York Times story about her and was completely blown away. I also want to check out those videos of her stretching that they mentioned in the story -- I'm so bad about stretching, but now I feel more motivated to do it!
6I think she's juiced. But impressive nonetheless. Ripped as all get out! Her abs look better than most female bodybuilders. Don't know whether to cheer for her or not.
7Wow...what a great inspiration this lady is. It is so great seeing someone break age barriers. It is fantastic seeing that you can really become better and better no matter what your age is. Great example. Truly amazing.
