With Sunday evening comes the inevitable wind down from a busy weekend and plans for the upcoming week. To get back on track, it pays to take a moment and think about your health intentions for the week. Your goal shouldn't be over complicated or too general, something simple like: to eat a leafy green everyday, to get to bed before midnight, or to lift weights twice a week. These are all doable and specific.
Healthy Monday is an organization with a mission to help folks start each week with a healthy attitude. I am loving their motto – Healthy Mondays, the day all health breaks lose. If you need a little extra motivation to make your Mondays healthy, sign up for their newsletter.
My goal, to swim a mile. What's yours?

I just moved this week so I haven't strength trained in an entire week. My goal is to get back on track and fit in strength training twice this week.
1My goal is do my cardio workouts in the morning. I haven't really done a proper 45 minute workout in two months! Definitely time to get back on track.
2my goal is to get to the gym six times this week. i did it last week & felt AMAZING, so i want to keep it up.
3I've met some of the folks behind Healthy Monday and it's a great idea, they are very cool people with some wonderful projects.
4My goal will be to get in a workout tomorrow and keep up my healthy eating streak.
Great idea! My goal this week is to do my cardio on all my planned days and to not pig out at my barbecue this weekend for the 4th. Also, I plan to do my Pilates 5 nights this week.
5My goal is to STICK to my eating and workout regime and not go crazy (food and alcohol wise) on the 1st (CANADA DAY!!!) oh and also to sleep more i'm constantly functioning on 5 hours a night
6My goal is to keep hitting the gym after work. Been feeling much better now that I'm doing cardio again.
7Cool. My goal this week is to do some basic pilates and push-ups in the morning before I start the day.
8my goal is to finally commit to working my abs...and i see a great exercise just posted on this site that will help!
9I got up and out of bed and swam a little over a half mile and then had to get home to make breakfast for my girls. I will swim the second half of my mile later on this week.
10I will walk my dog for at least one hour each evening - good for me and him! And I will do my strength training routine 3 times this week, I had wrist surgery last month and my upper arms are horrid and sausage-like! I love the concept of Healthy Monday!
11Not over eat, but eat until i am satisfied. I find I over eat on weekends when we tend to eat out more rather than cook at home.
