After the long haul of planning a fabulous wedding, it is time to relax on your honeymoon. But are relaxing and exercising mutually exclusive? If you're not taking an adventure honeymoon, would you (or did you) exercise on your honeymoon?

I did a lot of scuba diving, but I also did a lot of lounging on the beach. I am curious to know what you think, what you did on your honeymoon, or what you are planning or dreaming to do on your honeymoon of the future.

Absolutely. I cannot enjoy a vacation unless I work out.
Definitely. All that time in a bikini, plus all the eating out, I definitely needed the workouts!
we hiked our way through hawaii on our honeymoon. it was fantastic!!
I love hiking and being active on vacations as well as lounging and eating! Its a good balance!
I guess it would depend on where you're honeymooning. For example, in Hawaii I bet it would be fun to go hiking!
We went hiking and did loads of walking on our honeymoon on Kauai. Hawaii has so much to offer in the outdoors it would have been a shame not to stretch our legs a bit.
We planned to do some hiking on our honeymoon but the weather didn't cooperate. We did to a ton of walking, but I would have liked to have been able to hike. 3 weeks later (and moving out of 2 apartments and into a new one) and we're still not back on a work out schedule!
Solo exercising on the honeymoon = not so much fun. But working out with your mate on the honeymoon would be!
I exercised when we were on our honeymoon. We honeymooned up north in the middle of nowhere and we rented a cabin in the woods. Every morning I got up and went running and then came back and showered and made breakfast in bed for my hubby. Then we'd go hiking together and kayaking and stuff like that. We had a GREAT time and we were really active.
I didn't do any working out in the traditional sense, but we did walk whenever and wherever we could.
I'm sure I would end up have a honeymoon that involves a lot of walking.
During the week of the wedding I ran and surfed alone and with our guests. We also did a volunteer activity with our guests that involved a lot of manual labor. After the wedding my hubby and I set off for an area with kayaking, snorkeling, and swimming. We followed that up with some white-water rafting and hiking at another location. Each day of the wedding and moon were doing something active.
we went to greece and did TONS of walking. we even fit in a hike of the Samaria Gorge on crete...which was AMAZING!
Exercising make me more awake and ready to take on the day or night...If I don't I will probably pass out early and miss alot of cool stuff. Besides I don't want to totally change my everyday lifestyle for a week.
I love to exercise. It's a release for me. My soon to be husband and I love to workout together. It's fun for us!
The most excerise I did on my honeymoon was swimming in the Ocean/Pool.
absolutely! exercise is one thing my fiance and i love to share, so it would only be fitting if we did
oh and also, exercise helps me to relax anyway. so it would be helpful after all of the chaos we are going to endure beforehand!
NO.
Sex is a pretty good exercise...
I think it depends on the couple - if two people who absolutely love to exercise get married and want to exercise on their honeymoon, that makes total sense. Otherwise, I wouldn't...
I'm currently planning an adventure honeymoon in Costa Rica! Just laying around on a beach doesn't even begin to appeal to me. There will be lots of moving about.
