If sweet frozen treats are what you crave in the heat, then here's a snack for you. It's a cinch to make and contains only three ingredients — graham crackers, bananas, and peanut butter. This dessert is dairy and cholesterol free, contains no added sugar, and tastes like an ice cream sandwich. My girls and I all love them, and I bet you will too.

Recipe from: My Preschool Teacher
A healthy treat that's easy to make, has only 3 ingredients and is perfect for Summer.
Ingredients
2 ripe bananas
2 heaping tablespoons of all natural crunchy peanut butter
8 graham crackers rectangles (which makes 16 squares)
Directions
Serving Size: 1 Smudgie sandwich
Yields: 8 Smudgie sandwiches
1. Peel the bananas and place them in a bowl.
2. Put two tablespoons of crunchy peanut butter in the bowl and mash the two together with a fork until creamy.
3. Place 8 graham cracker squares on a piece of foil. Use the fork to smear the banana and peanut butter mixture onto the crackers.
4. Then place a plain graham cracker on top to make 8 sandwiches.
5. Stack them so you have a row of four and then wrap them in the foil.
6. Place them in the freezer for at least six hours and enjoy.

6my mother use to make these with only PB and Graham crackers.. we use to eat it as snacks all the time. What a great reminder of how my mother was "right"
7omg. yumm!
8Oooh, that looks yummy! I like to freeze bananas and then smear PB on them and eat them, but the graham cracker idea is really yummy sounding!
9Awesome! I'm totally doing this!
10I'm making these this weekend!
11so ironic, i made this as a snack this morning but with yogurt & bananas, ontop of a graham cracker! then later on i made one with a tiny bite of low-fat crustless cheesecake in between. very good.

14Looks absolutely yummy
I just might make a few of these over the weekend.
15These look yummy. For my birthday I'm doing a victorian tea party but I don't want to gain 5 pounds just from one day so these might be a good substitution for some of the finger sandwiches.
16good idea!
17YES ! GOOD IDEA!! TO MAKE ME FIT !!
HEHEHE!!!
18look so yummy. i bet if you add a piece of dark chocolate to a few of them too it would take smudgies to the next level
19MMmm... what is it about peanut butter and bananas that make them go so well together! I normally just cut a banana length ways, smear peanut butter in between, put it back together and freeze it like that wrapped in cling wrap. Its yum... like a banana popsicle!
I'll definitely have to try this!
20If only they sold graham crackers in the UK!
21I LOVE peanut butter...I'm going to make these ASAP!

36tip - buy trader joe's graham crackers--they're made from whole wheat flour (graham flour)
also, after taking it out from the freezer, wait for a couple of minutes before biting into it.
37definetly will try it this week.
