Top Allergens Making Us Miserable
Seafood
Allergens lurk in the deep blue sea, too. Mollusks (clams, mussels, and oysters), Crustaceans (shrimp, lobster, and crab) as well as scaly and bony fish like cod, salmon, trout, and halibut are cause for allergies in some people. While a fish allergy can be easy to pinpoint, fish by products are everywhere, so it can be a tough allergy to control.

I'm so glad I don't have this allergy! I love my lobster!
1You're lucky. I have a violent allergy to all non-fish creatures of the sea. Living in Japan makes this hard as the "Happiness of the Sea" is used in so many traditional dishes, espcially soups and seasonings. For people with this allergy, dining in Japan is like doing an extreme sport.
