Insect Stings
There is a reason we all run from bees. Not only do their stings hurt, but some folks experience and allergic reaction to them.
Everyday Health explains that the first insect sting can cause an allergic reaction with symptoms that include severe local swelling that takes weeks to dissipate. The second sting can cause a total-body, anaphylactic reaction, including swelling of the tongue, dizziness, chest constriction, breathing difficulty, fainting, heart attack, and, if medical attention is not sought, death.

I've developed a bit of an allergy to bees as I've gotten older...the last time I was stung, I was so congested that I literally couldn't stop sneezing for several minutes. My eyes also got red and itchy. I'm afraid the allergy will get even worse in the future, so I RUN whenever I see a bee.
