My thighs are my problem spot. I work really hard doing lunges and squats but no matter what, they never seem to get as toned as I would like. I have since accepted them for what they are and appreciate that they help me walk, but man, why won't they tone-up? We all have that one part of our body that, no matter how much cardio and resistance training we do, just does not want to tone up. So what is your problem area?

Abs and Butt! It's soo frustrating! LOL
1My ab. after having a c-section and twins it is so hard to get the muscle tone back. No matter how many sit up I do the bottom the middle is still loss.
2Well I always say I have a six pack, it's just still in the case.
3I have a strong core but my belly is where i gain all my weight so you never see it. Ugh.
Dana - try doing the ab workout that you lay on the ground and raise your legs (straightened legs) just a bit. You really feel it in your lower abs!
All of the above!
but seriously, abs and inner thighs, unless I'm doing ballet everyday.
4I have really good muscle tone naturally so I have a six-pack even when I don't work out--but my thighs are a little more difficult because that's where I gain weight. I actually have to put effort into toning that part of my body
5Thighs and arms for sure. I also have a natural six-pack (or at least well-defined stomach that I quite like). I also have a really cute butt that I love. I do NOT love the four inches under my butt/inner and outer thighs (just the top four stubbon inches). I also gain weight on the back of my arms, which is the WORST. I think girls with thin or toned arms automatically look so much more fit that me with my tricep flab. I think I could accept the thigh flab if I had cut arms. Weights just make them bigger, not toned, since the flab is on top. Sigh...
6good lord...if only I had legs like the girl in the picture!
I have the worst time toning my butt. AND it's the first place I gain weight.
The easiest for me is to tone my abs. woohoo
7I had two c-sections, so I've got what I lovingly call the "hangy thing." The area under the belly button, I have a hanging flap of skin. I've lost 40 pounds and it's still there. The only option to get rid of it, sadly, is surgery, and I'm just not willing to take that route.
8ckeller - I was thinking the same thing about the pic - but I am definitely abs - but I am starting to get there!
9my butt. there's a huge layer of fat that will never leave. ever.
10Saddle Bags anyone?
My thighs are smushy
11I have got to start working out again...
12i feel like my whole body is hard to tone. i work out a lot - but mostly do cardio - and i think that if i were to focus more on resistance or weights...i would tone more. i should change it up - i'm just not sure how.
13Thighs and Butt.
14Grr.
I was at my athletic peak and my abs were not where I wanted them to be!
15My butt.
My arms and stomach are the first things to improve.
16My back! I don't know what is it in English bra overhang? fat under or over my bra strap ..um well my thighs show the first reaction to my workouts!
17Really, everything between my belly button and my knees!
18my triceps, YUCK
19Oh man!! You know that flabby thing that hangs from your arm when you wave??? That is BY FAR the MOST DIFFICULT part on my body for me to tone!! I grosses me out!! The 2nd most difficult is the back of my legs under and around my butt!! Talk about Cellulite City!! LoL
20Abs, abs, abs...where are mine, as a matter of fact??!!!
21Triceps. I need to work a little harder on that area because I want better arms overall.
22The booty!! I actually have an easy time toning my arms.
23inner thighs
24butt, thighs and triceps...and I completely agree, jkat, girls with thins arms have unfair advantage
...well, at least my abs are quite nice...
25it's between the butt and abs but I like my butt so abs
26Arms. For the amount of arm exercises I do they should look like Madonna's (almost).
27I'm with you jkat. Arms are the worst! I have great muscle definition, but my fat stores there are the most stubborn. It doesn't come off!
28lower body, for sure. i can start seeing definition in my arms after only a few strength sessions and i have a naturally flat tummy but don't even get me started on my bums/thighs!
29Abs - oh my! I feel how they've gotten stronger, really firm actually, but a layer of fat will probably always hide them. When I was about 10 kilograms thinner than now, I did't have that fat layer but then again I didn't have curves either so..
30abs! I envy you pears... I'm an apple.
31My stomach is the hardest to whittle down. I'm working hard on my abs...even have a little bit of muscle showing now...still there's this layer of fat that wont go away! Having twins didnt help my belly skin much...but I would LOVE to have a nice curvy waist! *sigh*
32Arms are the easiest...no seriously!! I make it my goal 3 times a week to do an arm workout after my cardio. I have always had these meaty arms...in fact it was a picture from a Christmas party with my white meaty arm prominently displayed that really prompted me to get working out.
That workout...plus lifting my almost 40lb twin boys all the time really helps wonders!!
33I've been working out for quite a while now, and while I'm totally happy with everything else, my arms are still all jiggly! It drives me crazy. No matter what I do I have arm waddle.
34My love handles. I have a beautiful, flat stomach, and these horrible love handles are hanging off the sides ruining the view
35My abs. No matter how much cardio I do... ugh. :/ I've never had a flat stomach.
36I feel so much better after reading the comments. I thought I was the only one in the universe who had unproportionally flabby arms! My friends used to make fun of my arms in middle school and I was never even chubby
37Thighs and abs.
38Abs- just a layer of fat. I'm not worried, I just need to keep with good eating and cardio.
Every where else is fine with me, although I would like better definition in my thighs. Honestly, I'm pretty well proportioned, so no complaining.
39"Toning" is such a fake 80's fitness word. There's no toning. You can build muscle, burn fat, or both.
40my inner thighs... ughhh... theres muscle there.. .but just under a layer of nasty fat... i sort of have a 6 pack... not that defined, but defined enough where im happy... i dance so it was always naturally there... fat burning protein shakes certainly helped that area out a lot.. i totally recommend them after a workout.. especially now since its hot out... nice way to cool off after a work out
41I have really great legs, butt, and arms, but my ABS are SO HARD to get defined! I've always had a bit of a pooch there because I'm really short-waisted. It seems like my arms and back show muscle definition first when I work out though.
42I so want sinewy arms.
43for sure...i cannot get my little lump of a belly toned yet!
44Abs and thighs. Hate them both!
45Ugh, from my bellybutton to my mid-thigh area. Thanks, Mom!
46My abs. Actually, my problem was getting rid of the layer of fat that hides my toned abs. My body loves to store some fat at my abs (thanks Mom and Dad). My abs was the first place that gets fat, and the last place that loses fat.
Right now, I have some nice definition at my mid-section. I have a tight core, and a good hour-glass figure. But due to my body type, it takes a committed exercise habit, and healthy, lean eating.
47Abs by far. My arms snap right into shape and my legs get used a lot more in all exercise.
48Love handles! No matter how in shape I am, they're always there. Pretty much resigned myself to the fact they're not going anywhere...
49Ha there should've been an option for all the above.. But I'm having the most hardest time with my lower body. And I can't seem to get rid of my love handles no matter what!
