Jillian Michaels Moves You With Wii Fit

I'm a huge fan of celebrity trainer, Jillian Michaels; she is so hardcore. Not only does she push her clients physically, she pushes them emotionally as well. And they're stronger because of it. To have one hour with her, I'd give my perfectly broken-in pair of sneaks and my favorite wicking sports bra. Since that's probably not going to happen, I guess I will settle for the next best thing – her videogame workout.

Jillian is teaming up with the Wii Fit to bring you Jillian Michaels' Fitness Ultimatum 2009. The workout utilizes the motion-based Wii system and the Balance Board to combine play with fitness. Chances are high that the game is probably more fitness than play. The game is expected to release just in time for the holidays next year. She's incredibly excited about it since she knows that gaming and technology are bigger than big now, and it's a great way to combat childhood obesity before it becomes adult obesity. I cannot wait to get my hands on this and get my booty kicked.

I love this idea! It's too bad that things like this that can get the whole family involved and exercising are so costly. Not everyone can afford to get a Wii, and or then the Wii Fit, and or then the game. : (

30 Day Shred is such a great workout. I first saw it on the exercise channel via my Comcast On Demand service. I also like her story- how she was once 40lbs overweight and lost it. She's very inspiring.

I love Wii, and Wii Fit, and I will look forward to seeing how the reviews of this product go before buying, but I am optimistic!

Ooh, I did her 30-day shred on Comcast OnDemand, and it was HARD! But it was the perfect thing for days when I didn't feel like going to the gym ... and it was probably harder work than my regular gym workout too. (oops.)

I've also done the 30 day shred on comcast's on demand and I love levels 2 and 3! I usually do it before or after a run, but it's definitely one of my favorites!

The Wii fit is already out! I have one and it's actually a really great work out as it stresses balance so it forces you to hold poses/strength exercises perfectly. The first day I worked with the Wii Fit, I definitely felt it for a couple days after.

I have wii fit and it's great! It's definitely not my only form of exercise, but I enjoy the balance aspect and the variety of workouts and challenges. I never watched this TV show, but I look forward to this new game!
