I definitely have a sweet tooth and crave cookies, cakes smeared with frosting, and anything else you'd find at a bakery. I satiate my cravings by having a piece of dark chocolate each day. I'm also a big fan of sharing a little dessert if I'm out to eat. Of course now that's it's warmer out, I love to take my girls out for ice cream or frozen yogurt on the weekends. So what about you?

I have a horrible sweet tooth! I try so hard to keep it under control but some days are more difficult than others.
Once every couple of days I get insane ice cream cravings. Luckily, they make those cool single-serving Ben & Jerry's containers now... so I don't have to worry about plowing through the whole pint.
I LOVE SWEETS! I'd say a couple times a week I have a treat. I just made cupcakes the other day. the BEST cream cheese frosting. oh it was heaven. But Just one!
I am a horrible chocoholic... it gets me everytime! thank goodness so skinnycows!
I let myself have a little chocolate most days and on occasion at a party or something I let myself have a little cake.
only once a week for me! I love love love sweets though so it is tough...but on that one day I gorge!
I love sweets, and used to have a real hard time controlling my cravings. But with my pregnancy (and my first also) anything too sweet, or especially sweetened artificially, gives me a stomach ache. I still manage to have a piece or two here and there, though!
Thank goodness I'm not in the minority! I voted every few days.. more like every couple days. I used to be so good about avoiding sweets, only eating them once every couple weeks, but in recent months my sweet tooth is just out of control!
As long as I'm staying active & eating healthy, the sweets are just part of my regular daily consumption. If I start to feel puny sweets are always the first thing that doesn't sound good.
I confess to having a sweet tooth in a major way. I've "cured" myself of it for a few days but always come back and sometimes in a big way. So now I just let it happen and keep my portions small.
Fit, do you have a Coldstone Creamery near you? Hope you & your girls have one in the vicinity 'cause they have the best ice cream.
i may have a problem
Only a couple times a month. I'm more of a salt craver. I am going to get murdered for this, but I really don't like chocolate or candy. I would rather have cake or ice cream.
I have a mini York Peppermint Patty every day as my lunch dessert; it's small, doesn't have many calories or grams of fat, yet totally fulfills my sweet tooth.
I make room for it in the calorie budget every day. Then if I splurge on something else, I just remove the sweet treat for the day and it all balances out. I am more likely to choose sane portions of really healthy fare for meals when I know I have a treat coming. As long as I watch portion size its all good. I usually choose a square or two of dark choc, or 1/2 cup of slow churned ice cream or fro yo. Mmm.
Life is short, you only live once. Two years ago I developed a white blood cell disorder and now my food options are extremely limited. I can't eat sweets anymore without becoming seriously ill. I wish I would have let go a little more before I was sick because everyone deserves to treat themselves sometimes. It's really hard for me to watch my friends deprive themselves when they are perfectly healthy and a little indulgence wouldn't hurt them. But I guess "you don't know what you got till it's gone!"
My dad has sold candy for a living so I was over sweets by the age of 10. I do however enjoy an occasional frozen yogurt but that is as extreme as I go.
in the past 2 months i've had sweets once...indulged in a small piece of cake at a birthday party. I have to say, after "quitting" sweets for so long, the cake tasted good, but actually made me feel kind of sick.
i've been trying to wean myself off sweets for a while and re-direct my cravings to fruits and healthier snacks...and have actually been pretty successful, i guess. i do intend to let myself have treats every now and then but i certainly haven't craved like i used to. i expected to crave them way more than i do.
about once a week. i dont tend to crave sweets. im more of a salty girl. but lately ive been at parties where they have smores and let me tell ya, i can't resist gooey warm marshmallows!
I have such a sweet tooth. I usually have a handful of chocolate chips at the end of the day as a treat, but I'll (try to) skip it if I had something else during the day.
I have NO willpower against my sweet tooth! It's victorious on a daily basis. Right now I just had a reduced fat caramel nut Drumstick for a snack. It had 180 calories and 6 grams of fat, which I don't think is horrible. I can justify it knowing that I've had (and will be having) lots of fruit and veggies, as well as lean protein and fibre today.
Brownies and ice cream are my weakness, and chocolate too. But I buy the more expensive chocolate, so I only need a little piece to satisfy my cravings. And I eat ice cream once every 2 weeks, especially now that it's so darn hot! As long as I'm active, why the hell not?
I absolutely hate the word "sweets."
i crave sugar! I am seriously addicted.
I'm so much more of a salty girl than a sweet tooth girl. If there's a bag of chocolate near me, it'll last forever, but a bag of chips in my house would be gone in a couple of days.
I absolutely love the word "sweets." Probably because I live in England I find it adorable and endearing, just as my British co-workers snicker whenever I say "HEY GUYS, LET'S GET SOME CANDY FOR THE OFFICE." Anyways I have sweets everyday, I'm sure, and possibly every few hours, which is very, very bad. I'm trying to cut back and replace sweet desserts with fruit. It helps that my bf doesn't have a sweet tooth (I'm a bad influence on him) and chooses fruit over chocolate, and I tend to mimic his eating habits when we're eating together. What EmyAnne said above reminds me of my dad, who developed diabetes in his late thirties and cannot have any sugar products whatsoever. Obviously I don't go CRAZY over sweets, but I would really really struggle if I became diabetic (which I have a very high chance of, since almost everyone in my extended family has it) and couldn't have them. So I'm trying to enjoy it while I can.
bigestivediscuit..I absolutely hate the word "Sweets". I have no idea why though, I just all get offended when I hear it hehe

I eat about 200 calories' worth of small candy (like Reese's Miniature cups and Werther's Originals) spread throughout the day. I know it's kind of a lot to be eating every day, but this is as far as my sweet tooth will let it get down to, it seems.
i eat sweets everyday - mostly baked goods i've made myself, though.
Dark chocolate pretty much daily.
I just discovered Dove chocolates infused with vitamins. The dark chocolate has B6 for energy and the milk chocolate has vitamin C & E for nice skin. It's a good excuse to eat chocolate when I'm jonesing for some!
frozen yogurt for me! and on the rare occassions fruity candy (like swedish fish)
Every day. I need sugar in my life.
I have a really bad sweet tooth and if I couldn't have candy I'd go nuts. I budget in a handful of Gummi Bears every day to keep myself sane
I must have sweets daily. I wish I didn't like them but unfortunatelly I LOVE them!
i know to be healthy i need to cut out the junk food.. but i feel ike i need just a little bit of something every day. i need to break myself of this habit..
i have a new rule for myself, no candy, soda, or junk food until the weekend. during the weekdays i try to eat healthy.
but during the week im going crazy craving sugar.
About once a week I'll eat something sweet. I'm just more into salty foods.
Dark chocolate is my weakness. I keep a box of the Hershey's Extra Dark Chocolate Sticks at work and at home. And, I loove the 100 calorie York Peppermint Sticks..
I'm going to have to look into the Dove chocolates with the vitamins though. That sounds like a good excuse to have somethin sweet.
I eat sweets maybe twice a week now. When I was growing up in the US I almost never ate sweets. The portions were too large and I didn't like the taste of the artificial ingredients. It made me feel sick. Since I moved overseas I've discovered the wonders of French-style desserts made with real cream, butter, and sugar. The portions are small (1/2 to 2/3 the size of the cake shown in the photo) so I can eat a whole piece without feeling ill and there's no chemical aftertaste. It's delicious! But I still don't want to eat it every day and generally prefer salty foods.
I'm not much of a sweet tooth, but I love ice cream...I probably have it once a week or so in the summer.
I dont ever eat sweets.. i stopped eating them in october to lose weight and i just never started eating them again id rather have an apple!
I have a sweet tooth too, but I try to use more lo-cal treats to treat myself.
Yourgurt w/ fruit
Fresh watermelon or strawberries (if I'm really bad I'll spray a little FF whip cream on them)
Jello Fat-Free pudding (yes, I know it has aspartame, but I don't drink soda of any kind, so it's the only fake sugar I get)
fudgecicles (only 50 calories each)
Graham crackers
I try not to spluge much anymore, but my BF LOVES ice cream, so occasionally we'll go out and get a cone. Ice cream is my weakness & coincendentally my achilles heel w/ gaining weight..
Rarely. I'm not big into sweets, sodium is more my downfall. Besides, I get enough sugar from my daily "liquid satan" Dr. Pepper.
i love sweets but in my effort to be healthy i splurge only when its "worth the calories". so even though a candy bar might look good, i'd rather skip it and have a slice of my grandmother's home-made cake later on.
I don't really have much of a sweet tooth so I rarely eat sweets. I do indulge here and there but nothing drastic.
I enjoy my sweet treats every day, but that doesn't mean I'm going crazy on a mondo piece of cake every night. Sometimes it might just be a small square of amazing chocolate, caramel popcorn, or every now and then I go for some ice cream (local maker still makes it the old fashioned way so I'm not loading up on awful stuff like I could at a Coldstone Creamery).
I have a major sweet tooth, but at least I never eat candy. I work at Cold Stone so I think I'm overexposed! My favorites... ice cream, cake, and cookies. I've gotten pretty good at knowing how much is enough, but I probably have an ice cream once a week, and maybe a big oatmeal chocolate chip cookie once a week as well. If I'm out to dinner and the restaurant has fancy desserts, I usually order something to share.
Too often.
My main problem is the office I work at keeps stocking sweets. Its hard to fight the temptation.
