Feeling sore after a hard workout, makes me feel strong. I'll freely admit, I revel in it. However, if the situation becomes unbearable (like after the first week of boot camp), I'll take a hot bath or get a massage. I've experimented with wrapping my sore muscle in a towel soaked in apple cider vinegar. What about you?

By enjoying it
1I usually go for a short walk or do 10 easy minutes on the elliptical to warm up my muscles and then do some gentle stretching to help loosen and ease the soreness.
2I don't do anything to relieve the discomfort.
I just grimace and bare it.
3I do all 3. Take some pain meds, get in the bath, and get a nice massage from my husband when I get out. If it persists I use my heating bad before bed and throughout the day a couple times.
4I usually just grin and bear it or maybe take an ibuprofen if I feel REALLY sore, but I find the best cure is a heating pad.. feels sooo good and is very relaxing after a tough workout.
5My calf muscles are killing me from the new elliptical machine we just bought...brutal! I've been using the heating pad to help alleviate the ache. And my husband massaged my calves for me last night, which was great.
6I get my husband to give me a nice massage and I find that if I do some cardio, my muscles start loosening up and I feel a lot better.
7If it's DOMS I lightly workout (nothing too too strenuous) and then cold plunge at my gym. That or ice packs at home.
8Over the counter when it's really bad but otherwise just grin and bare it. No pain no gain.
9grin? i love it. i try not to take to painful level when i work out, but i little soreness feels so good when you lay back on your bed and stretch.
10Buck up. Definitely grin and bear it. It's a reminder that I did a great workout.
11I barely get soar after a good 45 minute exercise. I drink MonaVie daily! Only 2oz in the morning and 2 oz in the afternoon.
12Everybody should try it.
I grin and bear it. Hot showers are good, and I like to stretch quite thoroughly as well, to loosen things up a bit.
13voltarennnn cream and maybe a good massage
