OK, so I recently confessed to downing a whole sleeve of Girl Scout cookies to you guys and I felt great afterwards, especially after reading everyone else's confessions. I've got a new one to make . . .
The other day my husband made a date to run together after work. When we got home from a long day, I told my husband that I had a headache coming on and that I probably shouldn't run, so he went without me. Well, I didn't really have a headache. Granted I did feel a tiny little something in my head, but I am not sure it could've qualified as a headache as much as how my head usually feels after work. And let's be honest, it was nothing that would have prevented me from having a nice jog with my hubby. I will say that I felt guilty the entire time and the guilt I felt while he was running and I was lying on the couch, was hardly worth it.
So there, I've confessed — hey, it happens right? Now it's your turn. Do you have anything you want to confess and get off your chest? It helps knowing that we all make mistakes and that life does indeed go on.

eating well and exercising everyday is effortless for me during the week, but if i have a big night out on the weekends (which is usually the case) i end up pigging out on junk and sleeping off my hangover most of saturday/sunday...
1I ask a ton of lame questions and talk a lot during my workouts with my trainer so he doesn't work me to death haha. It's so dumb, because really I'm just paying him and wasting my time, but I still do it!
2At lunch yesterday with my in-laws, I ate one of the weight management salads at the Cheesecake Factory (which are really good and fairly healthy) and followed it up with a slice of lemon-raspberry cheesecake and then I helped my husband finish his strawberry shortcake by eating 3/4 of it. Yeah, I wasn't even that full when I was done, but I did not eat for the rest of the day because I knew I had probably reached my caloric limit.
3I'm the same. Super healthly mon-fri...then saturday I usually go out for drinks (still eat good throughout the day) and sunday is my junk-food day and i take FULL advantage of that!
4I TRY my hardest to eat healthier. More fruits and veggies. But there is one carb I can't get enough of. Which is Rice. I love it... and maybe because I was raised on rice and beans its kinda hard. But I do try to minimize the intake. Another confession, when I have my monthly friend I love sweets!! Horrible!!!
5After eating my lunch just now, my officemate offered some of her very yummy lunch, and I ate it
6I am so good eating healthy and have great habits, but sometimes when it comes to sweets I can't resist. It is horrible!
7i have the same confession as a few others on here...i am great monday through friday. i never miss a workout and i eat great. i stick to a great meal plan. then the weekend hits and i am tired and lazy. some aren't so bad, but this past weekend for example...had far to much wine while out for dinner and nursed my hangover the rest of the weekend...sunday i had a fried egg sandwhich for breakfast, perogies for lunch, yam fries for dinner...then at 8:30!!! had a grilled cheese
8it's ok to slip every once in a while, but yesterday was not worth it, because today i feel bloated, lethargic and completely run down. i can't wait to workout tonight!
I missed my run this morning for an extra hour of sleep. In my defense- I worked until late last night. But it still bums me out that I missed it, especially when I am trying to get into a new routine
9Well I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who drinks too much and eats junk food on the weekends! I'm looking forward to running tonight since I ate like a pig this weekend!
10BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger, fries and beer...enough said
11I totally ate half an carmel apple goldrush desert at Longhorn Steakhouse this weekend, it was so yummy I forgot to stop!! There I did it and I am still on track. I have no idea how many calories that was and I don't wanna know.
12I had way too many drinks on Friday night and consequently didn't work out all weekend. Then yesterday I had a big sugary daiquiri and a bunch of crawfish to really cap off my healthy weekend.
I love this feature!
13Oh, and during my drunk munchies I ate a grilled cheese with like, five Kraft singles and artificial butter spray. Awesome.
14I ate nothing containing nutritional value all weekend. I had pizza, a hot dog, McDonald's, a muffin from Dunkin Donuts, and probably about a bucket's worth of Pepsi.
I am attempting to get back on the "eating actual food more often than not" wagon today.
15I was waiting for my bf to finish up his meeting so that we could get lunch and watch a movie...and I got bored so I went to the vending machine, got a bag of chips, a bag of pretzels, a twix and a diet coke. I ate it all...and then after that for lunch I finished my plate of penne pasta with chicken in a tomato-cheese sauce. And I still had room for ice cream! UGH. Thank god for my run today.
16(fried) sesame chicken at Golden Wok last night, plus no exercising all weekend! I did play tennis on Friday, but I skipped my usual Saturday or Sunday workout. I have an excuse though...I had to study for a test!
17btw, can I say how much I love this feature? It makes me feel like I'm not the only one who reads this blog that once in a while eats the wrong thing or skips a workout. I used to feel like everyone who read or commented was super healthy and never made mistakes. But we are all human!
18My boyfriend and I were to a wedding Saturday night until midnight, and on the way home, we got a slice of pizza. I really haven't done that in years but it was delicious.
19Let's see, I have again put off my diet and exercise program as I have eaten a bunch of ice cream, and a lot of chips just now. I'll "try again" tomorrow I guess!
20Yep... I'm in the bad weekends club. Although this last weekend, I had a dinner party so my house was full of bad-for-me treats! So I ate and drank a months worth of calories on Saturday night... and then was food/alcohol hungover the next day, so what did I do? I had a pity party for myself and ate more.
21Aye Carumba!
I was fine for the last three weeks... until this weekend. I had been eating only whole grains, fruit, lean proteins and doing my 1 hour of cardio and 45 minutes of strength training 5-6 times a week. This past weekend I ditched LA for New York City and ended up pigging out completely. On Saturday I started off fairly well (oatmeal, fruit for snacks on the way down) but around dinner I ordered about 8 sticks of yakitori (O' Taisho!) chicken meatballs and had half a box of strawberry cream crackers after that. On Sunday I ate Chinese food and about half a BAG of Dove chocolate eggs and 6 Lindt truffles. Bleh. Proves what happens when you cut out those kinds of foods completely for 3 weeks... you end up binging. I have so much trouble maintaining my weight when I visit my boyfriend out here I'm beginning to think I should just purposely make a 5-lb deficit before I fly out because I'm going to end up gaining that weight here anyway. BLEHHHHH.
22I had pizza and beer yesterday and finished my meal with cake. I did an hour of cardio today to help but I know there's no way I burned it all off! My worst confession though is waking up in the morning for my daily workout, and having the energy to get up, but not doing so. I don't benefit from that extra hour and a half of "bed" time, so it's not like I actually sleep once the alarm wakes me up. I just can't get motivated to MOVE. I'm getting better though! My gym just moved into a new facility so the novelty and excitement makes me want to go.
23I am in the club of weekend warriors while I did work out friday and sunday I enjoyed a six pack of beer, my body weight of oysters at a roast, a chips and salsa bar, and an ice cream monstrosity called "la bomb" on saturday night.
24I just signed up for a BBQ dinner with wine pairings.
Hmmm, I don't think that really fits into the diet plan, but what the heck, you gotta live it up sometimes. Just makes the gym time more rewarding......IMO.
25sigh this last weekend was a whirlwinded blurr of bad food choices pizza, french fries, lasagna and strawberry shortcake and I haven't worked out since Wednesday. i feel so gross and feel like i've gained five pounds from this weekend alone. so today i turned a new leaf and got back on the eating healthy wagon and am going get back to my workouts. i went running during my lunch hour and am going to pilates tonight. i have my chicken, brown rice and broccoli planned for dinner. but the real confession is that every time my husband doesn't want to go work out he very easily talks me out of going. and secretly i'm relieved because i'm tired.
26yeah i have been really good at doing my tae bo recently, but i just went to my dad's wedding this weekend and drank all day on saturday and ate spinach artichoke dip and then yesterday i had a piece of pizza and later i made chocolate chip cookies.....that was a nice vent
27On the days that I work out before class, I wake up, eat oatmeal and a banana and work out about 45 minutes after. Multiple times now, I've done that routine, except instead of heading to the gym, I've gone back to bed for a couple of hours.
28I'll confess that on the weekends, I usually end up sleeping late and then working out and then doing a bunch of stuff around the house. Sometimes I don't eat all day and I end up feeling kind of crappy before dinner, which sometimes involves Doritos. I also drink diet soda without too much guilt, even though most people think it's worse than sin, but whatever...if I'm depriving myself of a lot of yummy food, a diet Coke here and there isn't gonna hurt too much.
29Trader Joe's Sutters Formula cookies peanut chews w/milk chocolate nuggets are cookie bliss. I eat them every day. And more than the recommended serving of one...I always eat two. Have been known to eat as many as 4.
30I had a small bowl of chocolate rice dream frozen dessert (ice cream) with some silk for dinner tonight. And nothing else. Bah!
31oh this weekend as a bad one...on saturday i was at a special with dinner with some friends. the dinner was not supper healthy (salad, 2 club crackers isntead of bread, rice, sauteed vegetables) and then followed it up with a slice of strawberry cheesecake. THEN, on sunday, i wake up and find a slice of sam's club white cake with whipped topping (MY FAVORITE DESSERT). I had to have a piece! gah! but I've been good today, except for a few cheez-its at lunch.
32while outrageously busy at work, being starved and not having time to heat up my lunch, I ate at least 7 girl scout samoasa (don't even look it up on fitsugar, it will make you ill) yuck. but now I don't think I'll be able to eat another for the rest of girl scout cookie season, always a bright side!
33About once a month, I whip up a bowl of Betty Crocker yellow cake batter and eat about a 1/4th of it. Super-trashy, but it works for ME!
34I'm so glad we are all human! Today I was doing great, declined all the snacks that were being offered... and then I got upset about something silly and on my break went over to Dairy Queen and got a small vanilla cone. There smalls are actually like 5 inches ABOVE the cone, and instead of scraping half of it off... I ate it all. Thought it would make me feel better, but then I was just upset all over again. Oh, and I didn't run today either.
35However, tomorrow's another day!
When I get lattes, which is several times a week, I always ask for extra whipped cream. And lately? I'm not sure my barista-guy has been using the sugar-free syrup. I get skim milk, and either get SF or one SF one sugar syrup split. But man, once I eat the whipped cream, sometimes, I even go back and have them shoot a bit more in before I leave.
...In my defense, it's my lunch. But there's no reason to go back for more whip after eating the first bit.
36Sometimes I convince myself I need to skip the gym to clean and then I don't clean. I'm so bad. Ha.
37I'm getting married next Saturday and vowed to be on a healthy eating kick all this week and next- and let's just say... i ate a small glazed dougnut this morning
oopps!
38I really like this idea! Today I went to Dunkin Donuts for coffee and tried to be "good" by getting only one glazed and one chocolate munchkin donut to fill my craving, but the sweet girl at the counter gave me 6 on the house. "one ain't gonna do nothing for you honey" is what she said. haha! So I scarfed four the them down then while out and about stopped by a bakery and got a delicious blueberry muffin. So much for my O.J., banana and hard-boiled egg "healthy" breakfast today....Last friday my work team went out for an office brithday, we went to a Mexican restaurant and slurrped down two pitchers worth of margarita's. I guess they got me a little hungry becuase I was the only one to literraly scrap my whole plate of tacos clean. I felt like a huge pig, but the were some very delicious tilapia fish tacos!
39haha! murdock99tx I love that I'm not the only one who buys cake mix just to eat the batter.
maybe it's in our heritage, I'm a murdock too! ha i seriously thought i was the only person who does that...i feel much better now.
I keep a box in my pantry & just scoop a little into a bowl with water & heat it up. it's delicious. sometimes i even drizzle caramel on top...
40Find me a person who has nothing to confess and you have found a very boring person! (or someone who has problems facing the truth!) I love my mom's pie and eat it whenever I visit her! I eat chocolate regularly (daily) and think ice cream only comes in premium brands. But I am careful about what I eat most of the time and try to maintain a very healthy diet. I love healthy food so that is not hard. My biggest confession is (ta da) my daughter made cupcakes last night and I had one this morning! (it was the one where she did not have enough batter to fill the cup but still!)
41I've been feeling pretty sore and so haven't been trying my hardest in yoga class... I've only been counting to 4 in boat pose! And I've been counting pretty quickly too - naughty naughty...
Also, I skipped lunch, and pigged out on half a thing of tzatziki and seaweed rice crackers!
