I remember in college that it was an unwritten rule that anyone who lived on the 3rd floor and below should not use the elevator (unless they have a bunch of stuff or moving in). If they did,
other elevator riders would give them dirty looks and deep sighs.

yeah I'm always amazed by the student at my school who use the lift to get to the 1. floor! They seriously are out of breath after like 1 staircase
1ditto that. I always take the stairs unless I've got a coffee and am going up to the 5th floor.
