When Spring rolls around, I like to buy myself a new running outfit (complete with a sports bra), to get me excited about running outside. When I was shopping for my new bra, I had some criteria. I didn't want a racerback, since I'd be running outside and my back gets super sweaty (did someone say bacne?). I also wanted it to have a clasp closure in the back, since peeling a sweaty sports bra over my head after a workout is not the most pleasant thing. So I found what I was looking for in the Champion Action Comfort Sports Bra ($29.99).

Don't you love how it looks like a real bra? Don't be deceived though since this baby offers amazing support. It may not be the best bra if you have a DD bust and like to run, but it'll definitely keep your girls in place if you're jogging with an A or B cup size. If you've got a little bit more going on in the chest department, this is great to wear under a tank top that has a shelf bra attached. I liked that the straps were adjustable, although my favorite part about this bra is that it has two separate padded cups. That means it makes your boobs look more attractive instead of looking like one big smooshy mound. It also prevents the world from knowing that you're cold (if you know what I mean). If you're in the market for a new sports bra, I'd try this one out. It may be your new favorite.

I'm a big fan of Title Nine (http://www.titlenine.com/) because of their barbell system* (see below - bb). I'm not an A or a B so I like to know how secure the girls are going to be:
1 bb- Our A and B cup testers prefer these bras. Recommended for all impact levels for A cups and low to mid-level impact activities for B cups.
2 bb-Our B cup testers love these bras for just about any level of impact; C and D cup testers use them as everyday bras or for low impact activities.
3 bb- These bras work best for our full B cup and C cup testers for most levels of impact, and yes, our D cup testers use these bras for low impact activities.
4 bb- These bras are our super-support bras and work best for our fuller C cup, D and DD cup testers. Full strength, no fooling support for most levels of impact.
5 bb- There is only one 5 barbell bra right now, but our D, DD and DDD testers swear by it for all levels of impact and no bouncing. We call it The Last Resort - literally!
1Thanks for the suggestion though!
2This looks like a good one, but I'm a C. I have three of the Moving Comfort Fiona bra (also sold at Title Nine!), which has a clasp closure and adjustable straps. It's does make me look like I have a "smushy mound" but at least it keeps them from going all over the place while running!

Too bad my bobbies are too big!
4I'm ok with it though
It's nice, I have been working out pretty hard recently, but my boobs have stayed!
For gals with bigger chests, I highly recommend the shock absorber sports bra: http://www.shockabsorber.co.uk/home/index.htm.
I love it!
5I want to try this one out. What store did you get it at?
6I need something more old school to strap them down. Ha.
7I love love the Title Nine system! I have the Last Resort Bra for running (I call it a frogger bra, b/c those babies are strapped down and not bouncing)... I also have a couple Fiona bras for less bouncy sport activities. I love the 'new outfit as motivation' idea - I get a new outfit for the annual half marathon I do and it really makes the whole thing feel like more of an event. I'm so excited it is nice out and running outside is more of an option again (well, for me till it is over 100 and I can't get up early enough for it not to be killer AZ hot!)
