Recently I asked you about your favorite healthy snacks, and I was happy to see so many of you respond. Personally, I try hard to eat healthy most of the time, but when PMS strikes, it's hard for me to stay on track. I end up craving everything sweet and salty.

So now I want to know about your fattening, greasy, creamy, fried, sugar-coated, chocolate-covered PMS cravings. What foods call your name when it's that time of the month? Tell me in the comment section below.

Skittles, the tropical ones or the berry ones. I get into that I.Must.Have.Them. mode, lol. Hey, at least they are fat-free!
1sweets of any kind. I've been craving red vines lately. I LOVE LOVE LOVE french fries TO DEATH but my trainer says no so I haven't had any in Months. Ok I lied, I stol one off a friends plate like a month ago, but other then that it's seriously been almost 3 months
2mmm i just want to eat everything that's bad for me! Mainly chips and fries though...salty ones! And then chocolate!
3Burger King chicken fries, chocolate, cake, anything salty...anything that's bad for me!!
4Plain french fries. I stay away from them.
5I don't actually know if I have specific PMS cravings, or at least I haven't noticed. I would say chocolate but I could want chocolate any given time.

Salty sweet things. I can usually turn down anything bad, but man pms makes me want to devour the earth of salt.
9Chocolate cakes, cupcakes, brownies... just anything with chocolate. It's like my body yells for them like a spoiled child.

Actually, there is this particular (award winning dessert) and a dessert cafe near my office that I crave whether it's PMS or a bad day...I don't know WHAT I'll do if I ever move out of the twin cities!
13argh. happening right now. i soooo want IN N OUT wrapped in a mountain mikes pizza followed by chocolate chocolate chocolate with ice cream from Baskin robbins and peanut butter and oreos and cookie dough oh and rasin bran.... oh yeesh, i have to lock myself in my room now, or at least stay away from a store. . . .

15depends on the day, sometimes it's greasy, like chili cheese covered everything, and sometimes it's chocolate. I love chocolate. love love love, can't get enough of chocolate. or steak, or mcdonalds...anything that is unhealthy, i eat when i pms
16fried and salty lately but i always want chocolate! honestly i eat anything in sight that week before i have my period...and i never get full. it is the oddest thing.

28Since i am totally pms-ing right now, i can report that last nights "cravings" were creamy white frosting right out of the container, string cheese, doritos and a beer.
Yeah...not good, but i am kicking my butt tonight at the gym.
Thankfully this only occurs once a month!! lol.
29I have three things I crave around period time - Homemade Super Spicy Tomato Salsa, Dark chocolate and beef.
I usually resist all three cravings because I know what it is my body is asking for. Sodium, something in the dark chocolate either the cacao or the vitamins and minerals and with the beef its the Iron that my body wants me to load up on. So I boost my multi-vitamin intake before PMS time and during the event.
30Mostly chocolate, ice cream and sweets. You are not alone Lilanic1, I'll eat anything is sight and always feel hungry the week before. It is kind of weird.
31pasta, bagels, cereal, granola, oatmeal...any wheaty carb!!
32If I crave anything on a regular day it's almost ALWAYS salty or meaty (chips, fries, hamburgers, pizza etc.)! But when it's that time of the month I get a major sweet tooth! I make my coffee extra sweet and pig out on the tootsie rolls next to me at work!
33French Fries: these are pretty easy to stay away from....Ice Cream: I will find myself going to the store just for some good ice cream
34I'm not sure I have specific PMS cravings. I guess probably anything salty. A bag of ketchup chips - yum
35there are these chocolate brownies in a bakery near my house and i only ever crave those. they're dense and chewy and fantastic!
36Cheeseburgers... which is completely bizarre because my diet is almost entirely vegan (I'm not a vegan, I just eat like one for the most part), and DARK CHOCOLATE. Non stop.
37I always crave pickles and sour Skittles during that time of the month. It's like I just NEED them or something. Also, Worchestshire sauce. I put it on everything because I just crave the flavor of it.
38Chocolate cake, chocolate chip cookies, candy bars (twix) french fries, Mcdonalds. Big fatty burgers too
39I always crave sugary foods. I love chocolate, ice cream, and cookies. Not good!!!

41In-N-Out Animal fries, or just fries in general. And ice cream - oreo or mint chocolate chip.

45I get mad cravings for french fries and cheese on or with anything. I can't stop eating cheese during that time o the month. Perhaps it's a calcium thing.

48Cheeseburgers. I always want something hot, fatty, and greasy. I also think it has to do with the fact that I get anemic on my period, so my body wants red meat to prepare.
49McDonald's french fries and a really cold coke followed by chocolate cake.
