Did you know that heart disease is the number one killer among women? If you did, good for you but unfortunately not everyone is as aware, so let's help educate.

Show your support for the fight against heart disease in women by wearing red tomorrow, February 2, 2007, for Go Red For Women Day. This is a simple and powerful way to raise awareness of heart disease and stroke. By joining together with thousands of women, companies and organizations and cities across America, you’ll help the American Heart Association support ongoing research and education about women and heart disease and all you have to do is wear your favorite red shirt (or put on red lipstick and red socks).
Easy enough, so start picking out your outfit!

3My dad actually told me about this, since he does some work for heart disease awareness.
4I seldom comment on these blogs, but I have got to say that "National Wear Red Day", i.e. "Red Fridays", are also set to honour our men and women defending our country overseas. Let's try to remember both causes.
5I will wear red. I will also be sure to tell everyone else to wear it as well and let them know what it stands for. Thanks Fit for the heads up!
6Yes! An excuse to go buy a new outfit! (and support a good cause of course!)
7Thanks, Fit..I sent out an email and blogged about it myself. I already have a red dress pin, but ordered one anyway...I'm SURE I know someone who'll want it.
