Have you ever tried Bossa Nova Açai Juice ($3). In case you've never heard of açai (pronounced ah-sci-ee), they are small, dark purple berries that grow on palm trees found in the Brazilian rainforest. Recently, they have been called the "world's healthiest fruit," because they're so high in antioxidants and naturally low in sugar. Açai actually have 60 percent more antioxidants than pomegranate juice.

So how does this juice taste and compare nutritionally to other juices? To find out read more.
I tried the raspberry and mango flavors and loved them. Both flavors were light, refreshing, smooth, and delicious. They tasted sweet, but not obnoxiously sweet like some juices can be. They are very berry-like and are similar to cherry or a really mild cranberry juice.
Nutritionally speaking, since pomegranate juice is also high in antioxidants, I compared this juice to POM Blueberry Pomegranate Juice and Naked Pomegranate Açai Juice. Check out the results.

Wow. That's a huge difference in calories and sugar, isn't it? Those other juices definitely are tasty, but Bossa Nova açai juice is so much lower in calories, sugars, sodium, and carbs that the healthier option is obvious. Have you tried it yet? If so tell me what you think in the comments section below.

This definitely sounds appealing.. I'll have to pick some up next time I'm grocery shopping.
1This looks yummy.
2I'm a brazilian and I must say açaí it's not my favourite...but it's really good, and all the healthy people here love it! SPECIALLY the gym addicts!
3I do not like the taste of it...it reminds me of the aftertaste of green olives.
4I loooove acai.... Where can I find this drink? Whole Foods or something?
5My favorite flavor of Vitamin water has Acai in it...I'll have to get some of these juices.
6I've had this juice several times and I always have to dilute it because it is so syrupy and sweet. It is good once I do that!
7my fave way to enjoy acai is frozen (like a sherbert) with granola on top, sliced bananas and ... choc syrup! It's *very* difficult to find it served like that, even at Brasilian restaurants, but when I get the chance, I take it!
8Isn't is Bossa Nova, not Boss Nova?
9I've never really tried Acai juice, but it sounds kind of good. I've heard that it's kind of a rip off though...they say you can get just as many antioxidants from other bright-colored fruits and veggies.
10yeah fit, its not boss.
11I want to try these, stat!
12I hadn't seen these until the other day...and since we could expense the meal, I went for it. I had the raspberry one, and it was good, if not a little bit different. The flavor surprised me, and i think from the color I expected the drink to be thicker and more syrupy...but I'm glad it wasn't!
13They were giving these out for free at my school, and I tried it. I was shocked at the lower amount of calories compared to most juices. It was pretty thick for me, so I think it would be a lot better mixed with carbonated water. Otherwise, it was yummy!
14I lovee this post because I swear by both that Naked Juice AND the Pom juice... But you've convinced me there's a better option. I'm excited to try this!
15These are delicious!! Almost better than Juice Squeezes!!
16I have tried all of them and by far the Mango is the best! I usually put sugar free vanilla syrup in the rest to even out the tartness but I stock up on these drinks when I can...definitely worth it!
17They are SOOOO good. I have to resist from buying a ton of them cause they are pretty spendy.
18I LOVE these! The blueberry one is my favorite. If you're really interested in acai juice, you can look into buying Mona Vie. It's certainly more expensive, but you buy by the box- 4 bottles/month. It's definitely worth it!
19These are so good.
20The only problem is the small bottle, and the hefty price.
But all worth it, I think
OK so I found these at my local Safeway, right next to the Pom juices... I tried the raspberry and passion fruit. They are EXCELLENT! Kinda pricey though, at 2.99 a pop.
21hey this one looks so good forme maybe also is it god for our health also just like this one also Acai antioxidants tha that i try so far just see it www.acaipower.com u well see just like a bossa nova is so many!!
