My boyfriend smokes and both of his Grandmothers were smokers who died of lung cancer from their habit. I would do anything to help him to quit
He had quit a couple of years ago for about 10 months, but now he's back at it as bad as ever. I'm so glad I never developed the habit, everyone I've ever known who tried to quit has had a
real struggle.
SunshineDaydream, do you have any advise about what made you want to quit and how you went about it? My boyfriend has a pretty high pressure job and he uses it as his excuse to keep smoking.
I quit smokine a little over 6 weeks ago, thankfully. Now if I could get hubby to quit, we'd be doing great. At least the house is smoke free - I make him go outside, haha. I used Chantix and
I drink a LOT more water now ... and rely on God a lot, too.

I just stopped smoking about a year ago...
1Errr... What was that reason? A bunch of smokers could collapse a steel landing outside of a hospital due to crowding? I don't quite get it.
In any case, I like my lungs like I like my coffee. Black.
2Scratch that. An office.
3that kinda freaked me out -
