Now that the weather is slowly turning to Spring some of us may be hitting the great outdoors again for our workouts, while others may opt to keep it inside. So which do you prefer?

I looooooooove to work out outdoors, but that is a no go in sping and summer, due to my pollen allergy. ;-(
Yea I have HORRIBLE allergies, so indoors for me! Otherwis ei get all stuffy and miserable!
i love running outside in the afternoons, but in the summer it gets to be over 100 deg here so I go inside. so either is fine by me
Running is DEFINITELY better outside! Treadmills are soooo boring! But a Group Fitness Class is equally as fun!
I like to be outside. But, sometimes up here in MN it gets way too hot and humid. I know it's hard to believe but our summers have been 100% humidity and it's been 100 degrees on top of it.
Those days I stay inside. Central air is awesome.
i like both-- for obvious reasons i love running outside when it gets nicer out, just because. on the other hand, like michlny says classes @ the gym are so much fun and i especially love the whole gym atmosphere when im suffering from a lack of initiative and motivation... people rub off on me
both- i love running outside, but i always lift at the gym. for some reason i cannot get over my self-consciousness enough to do plyometrics outside
If I'm living in Texas it has to be indoors, because the weather is good only two seasons out of the year. If I'm in Cali I'm doing something outside:)
I love running outside but I can't when it's very hot or very cold so my hubby and I use our treadmill when the weather doesn't cooperate. Wait, let me take that back....I use the treadmill, my hubby...not so much!
Going on a run or walk outside is so relaxing, and I love being outside. However, spinning is my absolute favorite... guess I need a bike.
And, I feel like I get a harder/better workout at the gym with equipment or weights.
During the week when I usually can't workout til after work, I will hit the gym. But when its a really nice day on the weekend, I can't stand being in doors so I'll take a run around the neighborhood or go hiking. I love the outdoors, this summer I want to learn to surf and just hit the beach for exercise more.
Both... depends on the weather and on the exercise. I normally work out indoors though, except for when I go running. I wish I could actually swim in an uncovered swimming pool in the summer, but it's always covered in my gym. I am at 15 minutes to the beach so no problem : )
Its nice to be outside...but for me my workouts are inside mostly. I guess i dont care for running outside, because you're actually going somewhere and that means you have to run back from where you ran to. lol. Plus i just like having all the other equipment there for me to use...and also being able to switch up the type of cardio im getting. Oh...and i hate having to try to dodge traffic while running...theres just too much of that around where i live.
I like to play outside (walk, hike, casual exercise), but I prefer to workout indoors.
Mostly inside because I hate hot weather and sun (I'm a Seattle girl, what can I say?). I do like to run outside in the mornings though.
indoors! its way humid here.. plus i'm allergic to grass.. hehe
I have a lot of exercise dvds and tapes, for years I mostly worked out indoors, but walking and hiking outdoors has gotten me leaner.
I would like to exercise more outside but with my job i don't get home till late night, so i get on the treadmill. the weather here is up and down and i'm not that committed to run in the rain.
I like both. I love being outside in general, so naturally I like working out outside, but I enjoy AC too.
Indoors because it's easier to track your progress!
when the weather is between 55ish and 80ish, there is nothing like running along Lake Michigan here in Chicago. All of your senses get involved - the sun and breeze; the thousands of other people you see running, walking, blading and biking; the smells (OK, Lake Michigan doesn't smell that great). I love it. But in the winter, sub zero temps scare me inside.
Indoor
I'm TOTALLY fearful of the sun...BECAUSE I HATE being tan and I usually just end up getting a headache if I'm in it too long. So I love being indoors. =) I LOVE being out in the evening though. Afternoon is SO not my cup-a-tea, especially in southern California.
Outside
Because I always get the smelly guy next to me on the treadmill...
Bleh
indoors. i'm prissy.
indoors is so boring
i prefer indoors. i think that in a gym..people are less likely to watch me while i'm on the treadmill/elliptical/bike while if i'm on the street running or riding my bike, people pay attention. i hate when people look at me while i'm working out cause it makes me nervous/uncomfortable.
Me too, ilanac!! I hate when people drive by or are out in their yards...it makes me so self conscious, like they're judging me or something. They're probably not, but I never feel like that at that gym.
i think i'm solar powered.. i feel so much better when i workout outdoors.
INDOORS FOR SURE BECAUSE I KNOW WHEN IT IS OVER!!!
AND I CAN CONTROL THE INTENSITY!
When the weather's nice, I LOVE working out outside, but when it's miserable, I'd rather use my elliptical inside watching TV, lol.
I was gonna say 'outdoors' (like, duh!) but actually... I like working out *both* indoors and outdoors, just cause i can't do my favorite aerobics tapes outdoors
I would love to work out outdoors, but the climate here in the Philippines is so hot that it's not always possible to do so.
