I definitely prefer to go to the gym after work, or on the weekend instead of during my lunch break because on average I like to spend at least an hour and a half at the gym. I warm up, do cardio and cool down for about 45 minutes, and then I do strength training and stretching for another 45.
So tell me . . .

I usually spend right about an hour, sometimes a few minutes more.
1Warm-up/ cardio/ cool down: 45 mins
2Weights: 30 mins
Abs: 20 mins
Stretching: 20-30 mins. I like to reeeaaally stretch it out, but I am nice and flexible. It just feels soooo good!
At the gym about 1:30 hour (running, weights and sauna which I looove !!)
Exercising outdoors: Easily about 2+ hrs especially when the weather is gorgeous.
3Trainer = 2 hours
Solo weight training + Abs & Low Back = 1.5 hours
I'm so not about stretching...after all the latest research it's proven to be pointless to aid in muscle tearing and recovery, so it's only good to help with flexibility, and I am very good with that:)
And if I do spinning, well that's just an hour class followed up by about 20 min of Ab workout.
4about an hour, no reason to spend more than that. think quality over quantity.
5no gym for me! I'm a college student, so I get all my exercise from walking around campus. :]
6I do stay for about 2 hours now that I take a Pilates class. I'll do about 40 minutes of cardio and then 60 minutes Pilates. It totals about 2 hours once you factor in warm ups and cool downs.
7I normally spend an hour to an hour and a half at the gym. Sometimes I would like to be there longer, but it's really hard to fit that into my schedule.
8It really depends on the day. Sometimes all I have time for is 30 minutes, but sometimes I'll take a couple classes and be there for 2 hours.
9I spend about 45 minutes on the ellipitcal and then about 10-15 weight training.
10During the weekdays i spend 45 min before I go to work; if I go on the weekends i try to spend more but by the time I get into a good workout, it starts to get crowded and too many sweaty/smelling bodies lessens my motivation
11about 30 min with weights and then 45 running.
12Usually an hour. I never understood the people who go on their lunch breaks. How can you get a good workout in a half hour (less really)? And why would you go back to work all sweaty and stinky, I don't think most people could squeeze in a shower afterwards!
13About an hour and a half every day
14Eeek, I don't go to the gym. But when I finish uni I'm going to do more sports. I probably still won't go to the gym though.
15It depends on what I'm doing. On days when I'm doing weight training it's 1 - 1.5 hours. Sometimes I do a yoga class directly after weights, so that adds another hour. On cardio days it's about 45 minutes. And on days when I just do a class, 1 hour.
16I spend zero time at the gym since I workout at home. I usually workout 6 days/week for 45 minutes to an hour each day.
17I don't go to the gym, but I log about an hour and a half on the elliptical and do 30-40 minutes of weights. Sometimes more, depending on how I'm feeling.
182 hours! I love doing exercise and been in shapes but my problem is... I develop muscle really fast whenever I play sports or whatever! That does bugging me for random reason.
19Depends on the day! With my trainer like over an hour. Maybe 1:15-1:30. Cardio on my own around 40 min usually. About 3 days a weeks I do 20-30 min during lunch as well as 30-45 min cardio after work. So my days are always different!
20an hour and a half to two hours. i try to do cardio and some strength training most days. granted, 30 minutes of that is a stretch series i do every time (a throwback from my ballet days... i don't feel right if i'm not elastic afterwards!).
21I workout at home, so I don't get the no-brainer weight training options (i.e., no weight machines, all cardio.)
22I warmup on the treadmill for 5 minutes at 3.0 MPH with the incline (from 1-10) at 3. Then I crank the incline up all the way to 10 and hike uphill for 25 minutes. Then I cool down for 5 minutes at incline 3, and stretch everything out. THEN I lift some weights (8lb dumbells) - bicep curls, "arnolds", bent rows, I lay on my balance ball and do chest presses...takes about 10-15 minutes.
Later in the day I get on my recumbent bike for 1/2 hour.
I need money for a gym! It's too expensive
I work out at home. I don't like being around people when I exercise. Usually I workout for 45minutes - an hour and a half depending on what I'm doing.
23Depends. Sometimes, I can only squeeze in 30 min of cardio. I generally like to put in a good hour or so.
24I do all of my working out at home. It is way to expensive to pay for a gym membership. I would rather work out with DVD's instead anyway. I can change it up whenever i want!
25I always take classes - so much fun packed into 1 hour!
26I go in the morning before work. I'm way too tired after work to go and I think it's a great way to start the day! Anyways, I'm 45 mins cardio and cool down then 30 mins weight training, 10 mins of ab work and 5 mins at the end for a bit of stretching.
27I workout at home. I used to go to the gym, but with living in the country and having a puppy, it gets difficult...I figure working out at home is good habit forming for when I have a baby!
28I do about 30-40 min a day on elliptical (10-15 before work and the rest about 2 hours before bed). Then I do strength training with a bench and free weights for about 20-30 min (usually before work). I also do Yoga a couple times a week, usually a calming sequence after my evening cardio.
Everything is unfortunately indoors, since I live in North Eastern Ontario, but with the dog and new bikes, I plan to get out a lot more once it warms up. We live on Georgian Bay and it takes me about 25 min to walk to the beach and we have some amazing trails out here. I think cardio is so much easier to do when you can do it with fun outdoor activities instead of a living room elliptical!
it depends on when i go. if it's during lunch then about 30 minutes - which is enough to get a little workout - but then i'll typically go after work for at least an hour if not more (and then another 20-30 minutes in the steam room where i'm a dork and do crunches and leg lifts in there). so all in all it's at least an hour and a half a day
