Kate Hudson, who's been under pregnancy watch for some time now, has no problem strutting around in a bikini. Perhaps she signed the Body Peace Project, but Kate seems to be totally at peace with her own body image. Or at least that is what she recently told Total Film magazine about her role in Fool's Gold. Here's more:
"I've danced my whole life, I work out all the time and I'm not worried about being totally perfect.
[My character is] a diver, so I'm not wearing this tiny string bikini; they're more the Speedo-type bikini – you know, the ones that cover pretty much everything."
What about you guys? Bathing suit season is just around the corner, so are you too worried about being perfect to wear a bathing suit or will you rock your suit no matter what?

1I want to look my best, but even if I'm not magazine perfect, I'm going to rock my swimsuit.
2interesting tidbit from my local newspaper gossip column has her & JT with a longstanding "friendship" over the last year or more. she refuses to be seen with him in public, but supposedly they talk/text every day & have been hanging out quite a bit since j. biel has been overseas. FWIW, i really do not like the JT/biel paring
and kate hudson rocks! so much more "real" than many hollywood.
3definitely nervous! i realize though that achieving perfection probably isn't going to happen so i'll be content with a looking as good as possible.

I never feel 100% comfortable in a bathing suit, but I generally think I look okay.
8the only part of my body i have never liked in a bathing suit were my arms...but since ive been working them out instead of just doing cardio i like them now and i cant wait for spring break in Florida...3 weeks!

10I exercise daily, people think I'm tiny, so I shouldn't worry about wearing a bikini... Except that with my super pale allergic to the sun skin, I look like Casper the friendly ghost if I set foot on a beach !
11I like hearing people acknowledge that they look good and work for it, rather than false modesty. I'm in no way ready for summer yet, but I'm on my way! By the time I visit my best friend in Aug, I hope to be 30 lbs lighter. She'll be blown away!

13I do have to say that in the posters for Fool's Gold, I thought she looked really scrawny. Almost too skinny...maybe it was because she was standing next to MM and he is just so broad shouldered. Did anyone else notice this?
14She's definitely one of my fav celebs. I think I read she does a lot of the pole dancing classes as of lately.
I'm not ready for a bikini but I'll be in Florida for a week in April so I'm working on it!
15Kate actually admitted the Fools Gold poster was retouched. I love how she says a speedo bikini covers everything, I think I could say that about wet suit! I'm not obsessed with being perfect, but I also think it's good to know our limits too. No one wants to see loads of rolls and dimples in a thong just cause someone feels good about their body. I sometimes walk around the house in my bikini to stay motivated, and it also helps me with the body image thing, I get more comfortable and think, hey I look pretty okay, but I still want to work on my abs and thighs a bit more before I go public.

17I just LOVE this woman, and no she did not look to scrawny on the Fools Gold, its the way she was standing thats all. I love her confidence, just her mum. Always happy.
18I feel as though we judge our bodies and notice negative things more than people do. Then we comment on them and make them noticed! Mum always says, people only know what you tell them!
So I wear my swimming suit, ( i have a fake tan to hide stretch marks) and forget about everything else and just have fun. `where I stand, I don't see anyone perfect so I'll be damned if someone expects that from me!
