Who doesn't love a soft and chewy bagel on the weekend? I don't care that they're full of carbs, since our bodies need them for energy. Plus I try to go for whole grain bagels anyway, so they're healthier than ones made with white flour. I also try to choose healthy spreads like low fat cream cheese and peanut butter, but sometimes I can't help but go for sugary jams and butter. Let's see how these bagel toppings compare.

Aww nuts. Missed the question about the maple raisin walnut cream cheese, who'd have known is right, Fit! Totally faked out on the nuts part. 75% isn't too bad...
1I LOVE maple rainsin walnut cream cheese!
I never use margarine. I use organic butter in moderation - at least it's a real food, not an overly-processed one.
2mmmm, lox. But you can taste the salt so I end up drining like 3 big glasses of water
3When I do have bagels at home, I usually have whole wheat, and top them with almond butter. That's gotta be better than most of the choices given. But I LOVE bagels and cream cheese, too - just don't eat them often.
4I love bagels. I use I Can't Believe It's Not Butter zero calorie spray butter. Soooo good!
5I'm a big bagel fan and I almost always top mine off with whipped cream cheese. I also love veggie and honey nut cream cheese.
I sometimes go for butter too, though...but never jelly. I hate it.
6Just finished my multi-grain bagel topped with peanut butter--a real Saturday morning treat.
7Bagels are a triumph of mankind. I love the Olde Earth Health Crunch ones - and they have that whole grain label you mentioned the other day. And they're so good with some organic peanut butter on top.
8i have a bagel with cream cheese every day for lunch. i love it =]
9I missed all of these, but I would never put those things on my bagel anyway (except maybe the lox). I stick to light cream cheese, plain flavor.
10The perfect bagel--with lox and whipped cream cheese. Too bad it's so unhealthy...if I have it, its a treat
11Sounds strange but I put Laughing Cow light swiss on my bagel, nice cheesy and creamy and not high in calories
12those bagels in the picture are quite holey...my bagels are huge and dont have giant holes
Loveee NY
13and i love egg bagels with cream cheese and doritos they are the best
and a long beach staple.
143/4, I like my plain thanks.
15I thought maple walnut cream cheese would have more calories than regular, but maybe it has fewer calories because it's whipped. I don't actually like bagels much, but when I do eat them I like the raisin ones with a bit of butter and cinnamon sugar. I also sometimes like a good whole grain bagel with a schmear of garden veggie cream cheese...yum!!!
16I save my bagels for lunch on the weekends. 1 tbsp herbed spreadable goat cheese, tomato and avocado slices on a toasted bagel. Heaven!
17wahooo 0/4. I rarely eat bagels anyway.
181/4-Ouch, and I used to work in a bagel joint.
19god, I sucked on that one!! If I have a bagel for breakfast, I have one half of one, toasted, and lots of peanut butter!
20I love bagels but I hardly ever have them. Nothing beats Philly cream cheese or just regular butter.
212/4 i only like bagels with either peanut butter or smokes salmon cream cheese.yum. but i rarely eat bagels.
22i like my bagels with hummus and veggies! delicious substitute for cream cheese.
23I agree with a couple posters here.
24NOTHING beats a whole wheat bagel with peanut butter. I like to use the smuckers natural, so much better than the sugary likes of say JIF.
Yum.
3/4, also missed the maple walnut raisin question.
well, i am a savory type of bagel person, but i've really cut back lately. used to get them almost once a week, now they are a definite occasional treat, and always a veggie cream cheese with either an asiago or everything bagel. YUMMERS!
25I eat my cinnamon raisin bagel plain and untoasted.
26Cream cheese... The people's cheese.
