Remember Jazzercise? Well, it's making a comeback -- Seriously.

Jazzercise all began when Judi Sheppard Missett turned her love of jazz dance into a worldwide dance exercise phenomenon and founded the Jazzercise dance fitness program in 1969. The workout program combines a fusion of jazz dance, resistance training, Pilates, yoga and even kickboxing -- Everything follows the principal of when you love your workout, results come easy. Currently there is a network of 6,800 instructors teaching more than 30,000 classes weekly in 30 countries. In fact 2005/2006 was the company's most successful year so far!

I love it. And I'm not afraid to admit it.
1I have done Jazzercize with my mom though the DECADES. It has been interesting to see it evolve, and it is amazing how perky the instructors are and how diverse the music is. I learned about Mya, Pink, Missy elliot etc, and their Lady marmalade song at jazzercise as the instructor sang along!
2I too jazzercized with my mom and we did it to country songs. I think that is the only time I have exercised to the Judds - but I liked it.
3i def had a jazzercise workout video when i was like 5... it came complete with a leotard and ribbon on a stick. i loved it!
4I've always enjoyed the Jazzercise classes with current music selections in a variety of genres. Also, the classes stay current with pilates and yoga concepts. And it is FUN!
5My school used to have 5minutes of Jazzercise every morning before classes started. Unless you had a note from a doctor, you were required to do it LOL! I loved it, I was a Jazzercise Leader! HAHAHAAH!!
6There is a Jazzercise studio across the street from my house. I never even thought about doing it (because I envisioned the leotards!!), but after looking at the website, I might give it a try. It certainly is conveniently located!
7OMG I've always wanted to Jazzercise but it seemed like they faded away. Then I completely forgotten about them until now.
I want to go Jazzercising now!
8I am a huge fan of jazzercise. I started in Jan when I was bored with my intense elliptical sessions and weight lifting that I was doing at home. Now I love it. It's not super duper hard-core in terms of tough, but it's fun, and I think it's good to mix up intensity.
