If you're still smoking and looking for more reasons to quit . . .

New research has found that smokers are four times more likely to feel tired when they wake up and they spend less time in deep sleep than nonsmokers do. Why you ask? Well researches think smokers experience nicotine withdrawal each night, which disturbs the smoker's sleep. I don't know about you, but I value my sleep far too much. So take this as just another friendly reminder to try to quit smoking if you haven't already started.

Smoking is so gross! I dont understand how someone can enjoy it at all. I'm constantly amazed at how all these smokers know what smoking does to them, yet they continue to smoke. Its crazy! Most of my friends do, but i never preach to them. They're not stupid...they know that its hurting them.

2I used to smoke but I quit for good two years ago. I haven't noticed any changes in my sleep since then.
But I definitely feel healthier!
3I used to smoke too and I didn't notice any better sleep! I feel jipped. haha Anyway, I know smoking is horrible for you, but sometimes I miss it. *shrug* I just liked the way it felt I guess.
4Considering that nicotine is a major stimulant, it makes sense that quitting would help you sleep a lot better.
